Hope you are doing great. With regard to your question, YES, you are eligible to become a professor or lecturer in psychology, even though you haven't taken psychology in 12th. You just need to secure 50% of marks in your 10+2 standards. That is important, it may be from any stream.
Hope this helps,

Hello Student
Lecturer of zoology after BSc zoology degree you have to do MSc in zoology, or MSc biology with zoology, or M tech in animal biotech courses with at least first class marks in both graduation and mass and Msc degree. Besides you have to qualify in National eligibility test that is NET examination. According toNew rules a college lecturer should have to complete PhD degree on the specific subject on which he or she want to be lecturer in future in a college weather it is in government or private sector.
Hope this will help.
Dear applicant association with both the Professions like Nursing and Pharmacy is indeed prestigious, when it comes to stay in Academics and be a professional lecturer at different institutions you can opt any of the following course to be a Professor later. But when the comparison brings the matter of Pay Scale the Pharmacy Professors get a salary of 5-6 LPA at an average and it rises above with more experience. But when it comes to Nursing Lecturer you pay scale stays somewhat lower in the beginning and more Professional exposure is required.
Hope it helps!!
