Hello Aspirant,

  • B.Sc is a conventional Level program. You will be prepared to study subjects like  Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and other science domain topics.
  • You can be an educator in the aforementioned subjects.
  • You need to have a Masters's degree along with a B.Ed (in some colleges B.Ed is not obligatory) for this. But some colleges, do consider a B.Ed degree.

Anushri Varshney 17th Oct, 2021

Hi there,

Job vacancies are like a way to secure the best for life. Since you have not mentioned any college name or any institutes it will be quite difficult to answer about the job vacancies.

Better to reframe the question or ask a new one. I will suggest you go through the job portals and career pages for information. Else you can try a search for vacancies.

Hope you get my point.

Thank you and good luck:)

maam is it ok if we have theory knowledge along with practical. but not upto the mark in doing sections. can we became good lecturer know maam

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Aug, 2021
Hello,

Let us first understand the process to become a Lecturer.

Firstly, you will have to score at least 55% marks in your Masters degree programme (50% for reserved category candidates).

You must have pursued post-graduation from a UGC recognised college or university from streams such as Humanities, Electronic Science, Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. Then you will have to appear and qualify any of these following entrance exams.
UGC - NET
CSIR - NET
GATE
SLET

You must possess good communication skills, good written and verbal communication skills, patience. You will have to prepare yourself before giving the lectures too and by the end of completing this journey of Masters and entrance exams, you will be fully ready to become a good lecturer.

I hope this helps.

Hello there!
First of all relax. Its fine if you haven't been able to score marks lately, you can score it by constant learning and following a good study routine.
For becoming lecturer, you need to clear NET. So kindly prepare for that.
Study well and don't get panic if you aren't able to score well which could be because of over stressing and over working.
Do quick exercises and learn well.
Good Luck!

Is Msc marine microbiology course equivalent to Msc marine biology or Msc Zoology? Is it possible to be a lecturer after Msc Marine microbiology?

Supriya Omi 11th Aug, 2021
Hello there!
Yes. It definitely is a good course.
The difference between Marine Microbiology and Zoology is in the course structure. Although these both are part of Life Science only and majority of the subjects are same but still, at higher level the difference arises.
You can become a lecturer in this field by clearing NET CSIR, Gate exams.
There is good scope ahead in both professional area as well as academic area.
Good Luck!

Dear aspirant,

You can take any of these subjects to become a lecturer in Medical Colleges in India.

But you have to pursue Master's in the respective subjects and then can appear for various entrance exam for professors in the field.

For lectureship post in premier institutions in India you should have at least Phd and experience of 2 years at the respective field of work or a Post Doc. Degree from India or abroad.

Hope it helps..
