Physical Education
Hi, you can surely get a college with that percentage. Please check the eligibility before applying. The chances that you get the desired college are slim but colleges do take students who have scored between 90% to 95% in Delhi university. Hope this helps.
Hey Alok!
For getting enrolled in the course of B.A.(Honours) Philosophy in University of Delhi (DU), no percentage deduction will be done if the candidate has not studied Philosophy in their 10+2. Earlier there used to be deductions but now no deduction for not studying philosophy in 12th class. So, you can calculate your best 4 percentage without facing deduction for not having studied philosophy before. But, keep in mind that you may be subjected to deductions in your best four percentage if you don't don't fulfil other criteria's such as choosing of subjects from the list A and B. For example, if you add physical education or music in your best of four for courses that are not associated with these subjects then you may be subjected to a deduction of 2.5%.

you're curious about whether physical education is a vocational topic or not, we've compiled a list of everything you need to know about physical education, based on the most recent CBSE standards. Physical education is a vocational subject, according to CBSE rules, and the CBSE also provides a list of vocational courses, which is shown below. The 40 vocational courses provided by CBSE are listed below. From the academic sessions, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has required all of its schools to provide one or more skill-based vocational courses to its pupils.
In this course the learner will be able to recognise and study the functions of many organs and systems in the human body. The required didactic and practical experience in Clinical Laboratory Science and General Education courses will be offered. The analysis and interpretation of laboratory tests will be taught to students. The goal of the course is to teach pupils the value of honesty and professionalism in the workplace.
Hope this helps!
Hey Sneha!
I guess you are referring to Delhi University since you haven't specified any college or University. For every course there are some eligibility criteria and best 4 should be calculated accordingly. You must have been told for that particular course in which you were not matching the eligibility percentages. For future reference, calculate your best 4 percentage in adherence to the course for which you want to take admission in. Also, apply in the colleges checking the percentage for the category to which you belong to. Many colleges provide 1% concession to female candidates. So also keep sure to check that. You can also check out your suggestive percentage for different courses. Although they are not always accurate. Because, sometimes it happens that when you add a non listed subject, even after deduction the percentage is higher as compared to when other subject was included. In the link provided below, you will get an idea how to calculate your best of four percentage for different courses. Check it out for more clarity.
