sir in class 12 I have 6 subject including pcm eng hindi physical education, sir kon kon se marks add kiye jaye for admission in college

Shrejal 24th Aug, 2021

Hello student, For finding you overall percentage add your best 5 subjects and divide them by 500 to get your overall percentage and if you want to find your PCM percentage you have to add your PCM marks divided by 300.

OVERALL % : S1+S2+S3+S4+S5/500

PCM % : P+C+M/300

Almost each and every college only considers your PCM percentage for the admission and other works.

All the Best!

i have physics chemistry maths english and physical education as main subjects and Biology as an additional subject and my least score is in biology. In neet ug form which subjects aggregate marks i have to fill or shoul i fill aggregate of all 6?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 5th Aug, 2021

Hi

In neet application form, there are two columns :-

---) Maximum marks

---) Marks obtained

You can do either of them i. e take aggregate of 5 subjects or enter total marks obtained in 6 subjects. Just make sure that put right maximum marks i. e 600 marks in case of 6 subjects and 500 marks in case of 5 subjects.

If you enter 5 subjects marks then,

5 Subjects to be considered for calculating aggregate  are :-

*Physics

*Chemistry

*Biology

*English

*Any subject other than listed above

And don't worry,

Even if you have biology as your 6th/additional/optional subject.

This is because,

The eligibility of students with Biology as an additional / optional subject  is in the supreme court but until it gives its judgement students, these students are eligible for neet

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students who have passed Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination i. e 31st December 2021 in case of neet 2021, no upper age limit as of now.

So, if you fulfill this Criteria then you are eligible for Neet examination and after qualifying get admission in Medical colleges as well

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

Your neet 2021 application form is available at its official website i. e ntaneet.nic.in to be filled from 13 July 2021 to 06 August 2021(upto 11:50 PM)

To help you further, here's how you can fill neet application form

To fill the application form you need to go through 5 steps i. e

*neet registration :- first of all visit the official website of neet i. e ntaneet  to generate your login credentials,

*then fill the form i. e you need to fill your personal academic and contact details

*and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,

*then pay the application fee

  • General :-   1500/-

  • General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :-   1400

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800

  • Foreign candidate :-  7500

*And finally you should take the printout of confirmation page.

physical education consider in best 4 in du

riteshkandpal499 11th Sep, 2021

Hello

Hope you are doing well

Yes physical education can be added as best four in du but When you’re applying for basic courses like Phys, Chem, Math hons or even courses like History, Eco or Psy. for that matter, your best of four will only include the 3 main subjects (P,C,M) + English (and a 2% deduction because of stream change).

The only way you can calculate your Best of four with physical education is if you want to go for a Phys Ed course.

Phys ed/home science/music can be included in your best of four only if you plan on doing a course in the respective subjects. (Eg. Music Hons.)

If you want to do any other course your best of four will be PCM +English

Good luck

Hope it helps

I have taken admission in B. Tech computer science (Internet of things). I come from physical education background. What I can do in 2 months (August, September) to improve my skills so that i do not face any problem in the starting of the course.

Akash Singh 30th Jul, 2021

Hay Rashmi,

Take it easy.

See, being from a physical education background will not bother you anywhere at all if you just give even one month seriously for learning basics of programming.

As you said you have two months, then explore as much as possible, search on internet about the coding, programming languages and get to know yourself what suits you the best.

Now after decoding it learn from Youtube videos or you can buy some online course for some basic programming languages.

Trust me if you give 3 hours daily for 2 months, you will find that you are very much confident and better than many.

You have to give time to explore things in Computer Science, if you know well about this earlier, it will be always be very beneficial to you.

I hope this answer helps you.

All the very best!!
