Hello Aspirant,
Yes, students from Telangana (TS) have the opportunity to get an engineering seat in Andhra Pradesh (AP) by appearing in AP EAPCET, under the Non-local category. However, they cannot take seats under state quota (local seats), and can only qualify for 15% Unreserved (Non-local) seats in private colleges and some categories in university colleges. There will be no preference for students from Telangana, all admissions will be based on merit and availability of seats in that category.

Hello, there are some rules mentioned below
Round 1: Fresh registration allowed
Round 2: Fresh registration is allowed
Mop-Up Round: Fresh registration is allowed
Stray Vacancy Round: Only registered candidates from earlier rounds can participate — no new registration allowed
So if you missed Round 1, you can register in Round 2 or Mop-Up, but not in the Stray Round. For State Counselling, most states allow fresh registrations in Mop-Up or even Round 2 (rules vary by state). Since private BHMS seats are filled through state counselling, you still have time to apply if registration opens again.

Yes,A state rank of 7,000 - 8,000 in Telengana for the OBC category is a decent score to get an MBBS seat in Govt colleges under the convener quota.since past OBC cutoffs gone upto 12,000.your score is also easily sufficient for private medical colleges under the convener quota. However, chances can vary depending on the competition and seat availability
