With an AIR around 49,000 in NEET PG 2025, Tamil Nadu state rank around 4000, and SC category rank 311, getting MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology or MS General Surgery in government colleges is difficult based on previous cut-off trends. However, General Surgery and sometimes OBGY may be possible in private or self-financing colleges, depending on counselling rounds and seat availability. You should participate in both AIQ and Tamil Nadu state counselling and keep multiple branch options.
