JIPMER has 2 branches one in Puducherri and the other in Karaikal. he Pondicherry branch has 150 MBBS seats and Karaikal branch has 50 seats. Out of this, based on the constitutional rights, OBC has 27% across alll sub categories. Now regarding the admission process, the counselling is done at All India Level on behalf of the NMC by the DGHS.
