That is a percentile of above 98 will help you get admission. To get CSE branch, you should expect your rank to be below 1500 if you're from home state that is a percentile not less than 99. It would be quite tough or nearly impossible for you to get CSE at NIT Warangal with a rank above 2000. However you may get ECE in the last or special rounds with a rank above 1800.
