NIT Warangal Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

The campus is huge and has almost all the necessary infrastructure you need. The central library is my favourite. Our metallurgy labs have good equipment but some machines are outdated Wifi works fine too

I'm doing my BTech in metallurgy and materials engeneering. I chose this bcoz NIT Warangal is one of the oldest NITs and has a good core engeneering reputation Professor are good too The syllabus is kinda outdated

Even though I'm in the batch of 2028 I interact a lot with seniors and the placement scene is genuinely great. For metallurgy branch the placement stays around 70 to 80 percent. Average salary is around 10 to 12 LPA

The tution fee is roughly 1.25 lakhs per semester for general category students, not including the hostel and mess charges

Campus is best Green and feels safe Students engage in many activities and we have clubs for literally everything

Hostels are not that clean, other than hostels all other building are well maintained. There are many hostels but in all hostels the washroom and bathroom are always dirty, I think they clean it once a month.

All Profs are very good, they interact with students very politely. They listen to the students appeal. Every professor also tries to improve himself, but there are some professors who never listens to the students which are tough to handle !

High lvl companies are coming to take students .... so it's very good ! in my collage we usually need 7+ CGPA to attend OTs and Interview and some of the companies don't even consider putting any sort of criteria.

Well it depends on our category ... For me per semester (4 months ) it takes Nearly 12k

The infrastructure on campus is satisfactory and supports both learning and extracurricular activities. Facilities such as classrooms, computer labs, and common areas are available but regular improvements and attention to maintenance would make the overall student experience much better.

One positive aspects of the academics is the willingness of faculty members to support students whenever they face difficulties in understanding topics. The curriculum is structured in a way that builds knowledge step by step.

Placement opportunities depend largely on how much efforts students invest in improving their communication skills, technical abilities and interview confidence. The college provides guidance through placement activities.

The college offers the essential infrastructure required for learning. Although it meets most academic requirements, some areas would benifit from improvements and more regular maintenance like grounds and washrooms.

The college offers a good academic foundation, and the faculty is generally supportive of stidents' learning. There is still scope to improve practical learning opportunities and incorporate newer technologies into the curriculum.

The infrastructure is adequate for academic needs, however some facilities could be upgraded and better maintained. They also provide a supportive learning environment for students to study in college.

The academics are decent and cover the core concepts well. The faculty members support us and curriculum provides a good foundation for learning. But there is room for improvement in terms of practical exposure.

Placements are decent, with a fair number of companies visiting the campus. Students who prepare well can secure good opportunities, though there is room for improvement in recruiter diversity abd overall placements are good.

The college is having moderate facilities which are necessary for students as classrooms, libraries, hostels and grounds the living spaces are always clean and hygiene always maintained by the college.

Academic are impressive but I find the department matter when I came to this college as they were having individual syllabus not same for every department and the curriculum is updated with all the developments required for placements

The placements are very well as any individual can participate in campus placement irrespective of the department for technical field or tech field above 70 Percentage students were placed every year.

Best infrastructure among all nits i can say, nothing is missing when it comes to classrooms, hostels, mess, grounds, hospital and the maintenance there is full star as everything is maintained on time through office councils.

Academics are some sort of low when compared to the academics of iits I think the annual time table should meet its ambition everytime for the years and coming to professors they are outstanding they always solve our doubts irrespective of time/place.

Yeah placements are a bit hike this year as the nirf ranking has became a bit high so the placement are quite well this season and the highest salary was offered was around 70lpa and average salary was around 30lpa.

Classes are avg Not all machines at labs work. Although it has all the necessary equipment.some classroom's have good smart boards and some don't.college was quite hygienic and have necessary spaces in hostels too.

I'm studying electrical and electronics engineering . Professors are good and qualified too Their teachings are very rigorous. They are extremely helpful. Our curriculum are really up to the date It includes all the things necessary to learn to be job ready .

Placements at nit warangal are top-notch. Almost all the students somehow get placed and majority gets good lpa. Avg salary in my branch(eee) is around 20lpa.they also provide help in good internerships.

Course cost were affordable since it's a government college. Also it's worth it in this college.

Campus Life in the college were very nice All students interact with each other really well . And they also have jamming session together . And fest was quite good too. Support staff are strict .

It's a great college with great campus that helps you in you journey to achieve higher knowledge and education.

From my experience, the infrastructure is pretty poor in NIT Warangal compared to other colleges. 1st year hostels are very old and the hostels get better as we come to 2nd year (for girls), coming to classrooms, they have basic projector facilities and good seating facilities, according to me. Wifi doesnt work in hostels sometimes, sometimes we face water problems, I would say in overall, it's below average.

Academics are decent in NIT Warangal, Highly proficient and skilled proffesors with 10+ years of experience atleast. Subjects and course are standardised and divided according to certain no of credits.

According to the college placement statistics, the placement percentage for mechanical branch is about 90% of the eligible candidates. Average CTC for mechanical engineer- 12 LPA. Highest CTC goes upto 42lpa

NIT Warangal has a well-planned campus with quality computing labs, innovation zones and modern classrooms. Central library and collaborative spaces help students study and build projects together.

CSE academics provide good balance of theory and lab work. We learn software engineering, networking and data science topics. Teachers help with project mentorship and real industry problem solving

Many students get placed every year in software and tech roles. Average packages are healthy and highest packages are competitive. Top employers recruit CSE grads for full-time and internship roles.
