First of all you would have to check if you are eligible for admissions to BA Economics with PCB stream. As far as I know in order to take admission in eco hons u should have math as a subject in classes 12 th. there is no entrence exam for this program in various colleges but in order to take admission in DU you might have to appear for DU JAT. The admission is held on merit basis in various universities.

You will have to check for the eligibility criteria in the college of your choice. And as far as the question is of coping up, it depends all on you, the amount of interest you have for the subject and the amount of hard work you want to put in. You will have to work a bit hard, cause you don't have a background in mathematics or economics, but it depends on you.

You can opt for economic honours without any problem.  The course doesn't need any particular required subjects for opting. So even with a PCM background you can go for economic honour. But before getting into college application Just confirm about the College eligibility for such course. As not every college has same eligibility criteria. Once if you check you can be clear with the point
