Hi, an autonomous college has its own syllabus which is comparatively more advanced than what you study in your government degree college. For government jobs it doesn't matter if you are from autonomous or government or private college student. You get an upper hand in autonomous college as they are always one step ahead. If there is no constraint on anything for which you will need to step down then autonomous colleges are something that you should prefer. Hope this helps.
