I study in 12th class in kashmir how can I prepare to get into us colleges like MIT, and i dont have a that much achievements in extra curricular activities and will the uncertainity of kashmir region help to get any privileges during college admissions

Hello, admissions to MIT  and other top 5 institutions in US can be possible if you have top percentile scores in your academics i.e. above 98 percentage and should have scored around 800 in your SAT exam .There wont be no any relaxation in your admission process based on your resident ship. But you can secure a seat in the next level institutes with your academics and a good SAT score . Based on your profile  you will be called for further interview rounds. Being thorough with your academics' foundation and showcasing your potential will help you in the interview rounds
