Hello chahat, you can either do BSC nautical science or BE in marine engineering or BE mechanical engineering or BE civil engineering , these are the various courses you can do , you can also apply for the entrance exam named as IMU cet by placing online application.

Hello atharva , but their is one option that is diploma in nautical ... so can u suggest me which will be better bsc or diploma?
hello again, so diploma is a short course and bsc is long course as compared to diploma .. but as i researched on question you asked , i think doing bsc would be more preferable sir as if you later on change your mind you can do some other course like for eg Mba.. and also it help you to do more carrer in merchant navy.. alothough Diploma degreee do have a lot of value.. but Doing BSC would be more preferable and it will give you a lot of scope later..and also by doing BSC you will get convocation certificate..
Hello, i also want to ask that doing bsc from good imu college or any govt college is enough for getting job as a 3rd rank officer or as a deck cadet or for job i have to prepare for anything else also ! Like i have heard about some sponsorship and all? Whats that .?
Hello sir, If you go for the govt you will get a lot of scope later as govt colleges do have some benefits to study whatever may be the field but as you mentioned you will doing something later so i assume you will be doing some other course so at that moment it will good to study in good imu college.. both have good chances for getting a job as good imu college does offer a good job opportunity the same way is with govt.. regarding what you asked abouthe sponsorship here is the link you may refer to know about it in detail sir.. http://imucet.co.in/sponsorship-test.phpI hope this helps.. all the best..
