Sorry but you can not get domicile from up as you have mentioned you are studying from Chandigarh, your home state will be considered as Chandigarh. Home state is that place from where student had passed their class 10th and12th.

Eligibility for up domicile-

Parents are permanent residents of the district

OR

a person who has been residing in the district for a period of not less than 3 years.

4. A person who is in the Government Service or in the Non-Government Service, and whose job is transferable, shall get some relaxation in the laws.

Driving License

Passport

Voter ID Card

PAN (Income Tax)

House Tax / Water Tax

Electricity Bill
