48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the School of Ocean Engineering at the Vel's Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai.
Ocean Engineering Courses such as Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Coastal & Ocean Engineering are the application of scientific methods for the benefit of the mankind. The School of Ocean Engineering under VELS UNIVERSITY is providing very good education and the courses are designed according to the need of the industries which are related to Ocean Engineering. As such VELS UNIVERSITY has the obligation and commitment to provide education right from DIPLOMA to Ph.D ( ie. Diploma,Degree, Post Graduate Degree and Research) level.
Eligibility Criteria
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and 55% in English at 10th or 12th Standard.
Age: 17 to 25 years as on 31 July.
Admission Details
Merit based on percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination together with 10+2 marks.
Medical Standard: Candidate should be physically fit which no colour.
