B.Sc Computer Science with Specialization in Cyber Security

College Infrastructure

*My college has every necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. We have projector and systems in our class , our college has an awesome library and hostel. The college is very clean. The staffs are very friendly .

Academics

Im studying Bsc Computer science with specialization in cyber security. I took this course because I am interested in coding and hacking. Quality of teaching is better and understandable . Yes my curriculum is all updated .

Placements

I haven't graduated still. But I've seen many students got placed . My cousin who studied in this college was placed in an very good company. And also 60% of his batchmates were placed. The average salary offered was 40k per month

Value-for-money

My course cost around 55000. Yes I feel my money is worth

College Infrastructure

The ambiance will make students to enjoy their college life and will motivate you to explore more in their respective fields. Labs and classrooms are well maintained , hygienic food lots of sports activities and well furnished hostels

Academics

Faculties are more interested in exploring new stuffs which makes them to be much closer with student and helps them to learn more . Lots of hackathons are encouraged by faculties. Faculties have a lot of contacts and knowledge in their respective fields.

Placements

average placements... lots of companies are hiring students on campus but only some of them get the job at last after their training period in their company. More than 25+ companies are hiring student of our institute every year . The institute also has a placement cell in which they train the students from first year itself shaping them to show off their skills in the most impressive way than others.

Value-for-money

you will have a worthy college experience and they wont make you to regret for joining this institute you can enjoy your college life absolutely to the most with fest and stuffs but you will get a lot more knowledge by participating in hackathons , problem solving programmes, techno events,etc....

beautiful experience , will last in your mind forever , the infrastructure is just nice to feel but i wont say its outstanding of few construction works happening now but still caring faculties great amenities lots of events lots of knowledgeable people around all these things will make you to have a great campus life.because

MBA Integrated

My college experience was average. faculty is fine, classes are taken with ppts and notes. college is more money oriented. though the infrastructure is very good, campus is equipped with free wifi and air conditioned classes. being a north indian i faced partiality at every thing, from academics to extra curricular activities, south indian are given more preference . hostel facility is average too, hostel is strict but food is horrible. college fees is feasible compared to other private colleges in chennai.

The college is quite good.The bonding between the students and faculties is good.Seminars are conducted regularly on modern trends in engineering.MoUs signed with many abroad universities.The management supports the students those willing to study abroad.

I haven't been to such an institution in my life this is not a good institution for the growth and development of students it's for the growth and development of the management . This institution is running completely on money rules here, faculties in this institution are the worst eligible people to teach the students, infrastructure is just fine , no one shares correct information the people in the institution is always changing what they said

Diploma in Petroleum Engineering

This university has a good reputation for Courses like Marine Engineering, Pharma, Visual communication and other science and humanity Degrees...An MBA degree from this university is very much valuable....But engineering course in this college is relatively new and also lacks the necessary facilities and faculties...You don't expect a Non Engineering degree holder, Recently passed out faculty to take class for you and also punish you for silly reasons in the first year...In short, It will take time for engineering in this college to grow....About the fellow students, Some are decent and good, Most behaves like rogues and rowdies and also there are many students from some unknown villages, Who expect that we adapt to their culture and bow down to them....Mind you, If you are a Hindu speaking guy, There is no problem because There are many North Indians here as well as some locals who know Hindi well...Overall it's an average college for engineering....

This college is good for arts and science and also for MBA. but for engineering, it is not good. the faculties are average and are not strict.. if your are an academically weak person or economically weak person, then this college does provide you with an opportunity to study engineering. I am still regretting choosing this college.

The college is new for engineering, faculties are average except few, high fees, few companies for placement. Campus infrastructure is good with lot of space and playground, etc. Labs and library are good. Vels university is good for b.pharma, mca, marnie, hotel management. If anyone want to take admission in these courses I can recommend it but for engineering it will take time to grow up.

I was a part of institution from 2009- 2013....Awesome experience for a teen who goes to college...dynamic and inspiring and highly educated faculty...college has awesome environment...excellent in placements...institution teaches self help and dynamic attitude...how to crack challenges was the major learning factor...would again like to go back to college life

Mixed feelings for the college. Great friends, Valid degree, Awesome 4 years.... No placement, average infrastructure, average faculties, no exposure to industry....needs improvement which i dont see happening in the college..will never recommended anyone to join this college

It started it's engineering course in 2008 only. It has a good team of teaching staff. It's marine engineering is best from all course available in this university. It has it's own school also .you can take admission in lkg and you can come with master degree from this university

The college promise a lot but all fake there is no campus placement in this entire University but they shows 100% placement on their website they cheat student basically and play with their careers so please think 100 time before taking admission faculties are not so good evening they can't teach in a primary school and they are faculty of engineer college fee is too much for every course

vels university is in Chennai...the best thing about the college is that you won't find a difference between the faculty member and students because the faculty member really help as they're one of our friend..many guys will say many things about many colleges so best is what you see not you hear..n I saw the holy relationship between the faculty of the college and students...all the freshers out there just wanted to say one thing...believe what you actually see not what you hear, thousands of minds will give thousands of thoughts so it's on you coz it's your life
