Annamalai University is a state university established in 1929. The university has ten faculties, including Arts, Science, Marine Sciences, Indian Languages, Engineering and Technology, Education, Fine Arts, Agriculture, Medicine, and Dentistry, as well as 49 departments of study that offer programmes at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in a variety of disciplines. Annamalai University DDE has 15 patents and 40 memorandums of understanding with research partners such as FAO, IRRI, and USDA. Annamalai University DDE UG admissions are based on qualifying examination scores. Annamalai University UG admissions take 12th grade point averages into account. Candidates must apply for and attend counselling at the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai.
