BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women was established in 2012 by Chairman Sri KV Vishnu Raju under Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES). The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A. BVRIT Hyderabad is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The BVRIT Hyderabad is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

BVRIT Hyderabad offers courses in the field of engineering. B.Tech and M.Tech are the courses offered by BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women. BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women aims to help financially backward students by encouraging them to avail scholarships and freeships. Students at BVRIT Hyderabad can avail scholarships like Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students (Technical Degree), Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Student (Technical Degree), AICTE- Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Degree), etc. These scholarships are provided by AICTE. Thus, students aspiring for BVRIT Hyderabad scholarships can directly apply on the national scholarship portal.
