SDMCET Dharwad Facilities

SDM College of Engineering and Technology Dharwad offers many facilities to the students, faculty and staff. SDMCET Dharwad facilities include residential facilities, medical facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, and many other facilities. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The library of the college provides students with many academic resources to help them with their studies. SDM College of Engineering and Technology Dharwad facilities also includes various sports infrastructure. A gymnasium is also present on campus. The college also has a cafeteria that provides healthy and nutritious meals to the students, faculty and staff. The college has a health centre for medical assistance. Transport facilities are also provided by the college. A post office is also present on campus. The auditorium is used for organising events and functions. An IT infrastructure is also part of SDMCET Dharwad campus facilities and 24 hours internet facility is also provided by the college. Boys Hostel
There are three hostels for boys on campus. All basic facilities are provided to the students. The hostels have furnished rooms. Bed, mattresses, wardrobes, study tables with chairs are provided in each room. CCTV cameras are placed at the entrance of each hostel.
Girls Hostel
There are two hostels for girls on campus. The common areas of the hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and the hostels are equipped with solar water heaters. A three-tier 24 hours security system.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health centre which caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff.
Gym
The college has well-equipped gym facilities for the students.
Library
SDM College of Engineering and Technology Dharwad facilities include a library. The library has more than 2000 Bound volumes of journals, 2500 CDs & DVDs and IS standards. Online services are also provided by the college. More than 60,000 books are available in the college library. The library is automated by using EASYLIB-Library management software.
Sports
SDMCET Dharwad provides a large number of sports facilities to the students. This includes fields and grounds for various indoor and outdoor games. Courts for cricket, archery, kabaddi, netball, hockey, football, volleyball, etc are available. Indoor sports facilities include - table tennis, carrom, badminton, chess, etc.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has the latest and modern IT infrastructure facilities.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria of the college provides meals to the students, faculty and staff.
Auditorium
The college auditorium is used by the students and faculty to conduct various activities and functions.
Transport Facility
Transport facilities are provided by SDM College of Engineering and Technology Dharwad.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for alumni association.
Wifi
The entire campus has been Wi-Fi enabled. It allows faculty, staff and students to log on to the internet at any point in time.

The building and overall infrastructure including Library and play areas are well managed and provided The infra is developed for overall development of students keeping in mind ease of access and quality

Yes , the college infrastructure is really good it seems like a top education centre and the libraries are good they provide almost all required books and sports complex is the best part it is excellent and well maintained.

College Infrastructure

SDM college has well infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The facilities in classroom, laboratories, libraries,sports centers and hostels are extremely good. Placements are not up to the mark for mechanical and civil branch.

If I got 29000 rank in KCET, is it possible to get admission in B.E in SDM College of engineering and technology ,Dharwad in cs branch if I belong to the 2A category?

Hello Roshan Raikar,

Due to previous cut-off ranks in KCET ,if you got 29000 rank it is not possible to get admission in that college,if you want to get admission in this college you must get the rank below 18000.
