The Department of Management, North-Eastern Hill University and North Eastern Management Association (NEMA) jointly organise an International Conference on “ Contemporary Issues in Business Management and Social Sciences in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” on June 20, 2024 and June 21, 2024.
The CUET UG 2024 exam results will be declared on June 30, 2024.
The Department of Physics, North-Eastern Hill University will conduct an International Workshop on Recent Trends in Material Science on August 27, 2024.
NEHU Shillong will conduct a National Conference on Luminescence and its Applications (NCLA-2024) from August 28 – 30, 2024.
In 1973, North Eastern Hill University was established. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted NEHU Shillong grade A accreditation. The University Grants Commission (UGC) also recognises the university. There are 44 teaching departments and 8 schools overall at the university. NEHU Shillong has been ranked 80th among the universities by the NIRF.
The NEHU Shillong offers classes in a variety of subject areas, including science, business, computer science, engineering, and law. North Eastern Hill University Shillong offers B.A. L.L.B (H), B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A, L.L.M, M.Ed, M.A. M.Sc, and M.T.T.M. as its programmes. NEHU Shillong Scholarship
North-Eastern Hill University provides scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates. NEHU Shillong scholarships are NEHU PG Merit Scholarship, UGC-NON- NET Fellowship for Research Scholars and The North-Eastern Hill University Students’ Aid Fund. To avail the scholarships, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria. For NEHU PG Merit Scholarship, candidates should have minimum 55% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.Ed./B.B.A, etc. The graduation should be an honors or as a major subject. UGC-NON- NET Fellowship for Research Scholars are awarded to those candidates who are admitted to M.Phil/Ph.D. Additional requirements of this NEHU Shillong scholarship are that, candidates have to assist the University/Institution in the academic work, tutorials, evaluation of the test papers, laboratory demonstration, supervision of fieldwork, library activities like group seminars and symposia, etc. Financial assistance or loans are also provided to the poor students in the form of tuition fees, examination fees, purchase of textbooks, stationery, hostel charges, expenses on clothes and emergency medical expenses, etc through The North-Eastern Hill University Students’ Aid Fund. To avail the assistance, candidates are selected on the basis of merit and/or interview. Northeastern Hills University is a central university, and it has all the necessary infrastructures. It has clean classrooms and library, hostels and Wi-Fi connection in the campus. There are also projectors and sports facilities which are well used. Yes, the spaces are good, and food is hygienic.

My university has all the necessary facilities, classrooms, projectors, lab equipments and very good central library. It has a sport centresand and all the facilities and library is connected wifi. North Eastern Hills University is a central university run by the government and the campus is so clean and the atmosphere in the campus is so good. Living spaces and the food hygiene is so good.
