Post Graduate Diploma In Practical Film Making (PGDPFM) is a one year program.

The Film and Television industry is growing both in volume and diversity. There is a growing need for qualified and trained management personnel to develop and innovate the business, to creative writing, put latest technologies to use and come out with a product which appeals to the viewers. The course is aimed at providing a combination of the processes, characteristics, technology with management concepts and applications. Emphasis has been put in the syllabus on modern techniques specialization and multiple functional areas for giving a greater exposure. The course will be conducted in technical collaboration with/ without a film school. Management subjects will be conducted at GICED and Film/ Television theory subjects, practicals, projects may be conducted at a film school.
