Well-equipped classrooms, dedicated sports area, swimming pool, gym, yoga and aerobics centre, etc. Okayish canteen though the location compensates for it, good munching spots nearby... RATNA - A must try restaurant

Academics

Good and experienced faculties, both in-house and visiting. Good scope to learn from experienced resources. Frequent talks and lectures organized at the campus delivered by industry experts visiting from all across.

Placements

Decent offers keeping in mind the RoI factor. Before you join, do an analysis of the companies coming for placements (you can get that info on the official website). Average package is around 9+ LPA. Good for freshers.

Campus Life

Amazing location, very engaging curriculum, various clubs and cells which you can be a part of, frequent competitions and other co-curricular activities

College Infrastructure

College have facilties like gymnasium and swimming pool which are well maintained and functional .these facilities are not for namesake like other Colleges but they are fully functional and we've trainers and coaches to train students who've hobbies to entertain them

Academics

Faculties are great and course is as per new industrial development. we have most of visiting faculties so one can judge how our studies are according to Trend in industries. Faculties are great in every specialization.

Placements

Placements are great SIMS have track record of 100% . Marketing as specialization is what SIMS is known for , we have maximum package upto 15-17 lacs and average 10 lacs. Every branch have great placement records.

Value-for-money

SIMS is especially known for ROI because it offers MBA at much less tution fee when compared to other Colleges offering MBA.

College Infrastructure

The college is ergonomically based to sustain the campus as well as provide a space for co-curriculars. The living spaces are hygienic. A strict safety and cleanliness procedure is followed. The college offers all facilities you possibly could imagine.

Academics

I am doing my MBA in human resources as I believe the workforce of an organisation is what forms it or breaks it. I want to understand the forces which stimulate them. The quality of teaching is a mixed bag. There are some phenomenal teachers and then there are some who are good but not that great. The curriculum is constantly updated to fit the external business environment needs

Placements

The quality of placements at the college had always been good. Though affected by the current situation most of us still have our internships which goes to show the extra step the placement cell would go to help students.

Value-for-money

The course costed 10 laks overall. I feel I am getting my moneys worth because of the extensive effort put in by the admin to provide a platform for holistic situation.

Campus Life

The campus is one of the most engaging campuses. There exists various clubs and cells to engage you all year. Asides from that every major sport courts and fields are available.

Anything Else

This is a brilliant institute to do your MBA from. Its where you are treated as equal and no sort of bias is done

You can't judge without being there....talking about sims..one thing came in mind lots of fun and sims way of life..placements are good and the academics is outstanding.college life is really awesome having good college crowd and student life is really lively.hostels life is also good..the main thing which irritates is classes from 8:10.

Iits for those who think they are having some finance problem and are capable of performing better..a college with best ROI and also best industry exposure as well as the same time having the best faculties in an academic department. while talking about the overall college infrastructure its good lushed with greenery. and centre of attraction is the state of art swimming pool with a gym. the hostel is also excellent with best facilities out there..:)

The college life is amazing. The crowd , the teachers , the staff all are very warm and welcoming. Hostel life too is comfortable and the mess food is tolerable too. It helps you learn a lot and develop your personality. The initial period of orientation will make you learn 90% of your total learning in life and I'm not exaggerating. Being a B-school for defence brats, it takes care of the discipline that we are brought up with. It is located in Pune city and the weather there is amazing. So that is an add on ! The places around are also very nice . It is a place for the youth so everything is a plus. Life is happening in and around the campus. The hostel has a lot of facilities like aerobics classes, yoga classes, gym, dance classes, swimming pool, basketball court , library, free wifi 24*7, spacious rooms etc.

The faculty here is rich with experience and academic culture is good. College offers MBA in four major specializations, and beside that you can opt for minor subjects from other specializations. Placements are too good here and you will see maximum people from a batch opt for marketing specializations. Rest I strongly recommend this college for fresher’s though nearly 40 percent crowd here is work-ex.Infrastructure is awesome , this is actually like your dream college but when we come on their management it is the worst where all the management depends on some 5-6 persons. and the placement is also the worst,companies are coming but all of them are fraud except some(2-3)

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) is part of the huge and beautiful Symbiosis International University (SIU) campus which hosts many other sister institutes including one of the most sought-after B-Schools - SIBM. Infra is nothing to complain about, as it's a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus with clean and tidy classrooms, a spacious enough library and enough books. Hostels are well-maintained with attached bathrooms to every room which is shared among 3 students. The hostel fees are Rs. 95,000 per year inclusive of the mess fees.Students from the mechanical and civil departments are all praise for the faculty. The E&TC department is said to fare even better-"Brilliant faculty" says one. However, the same cannot be concluded for the CS and IT departments who wish their faculty improved.

Sims is surely is a college where you of have of stuff to do including studies. The onky thing which you are gonna lack here is time. With the long lecyures and guest lectures to an unending stream of assignment, you would actually have a feel of how the coorporate world would be. It actually readies you to be a MANAGER. With a campus located in relatively calm area between fc road and khadki the campus is a real happening place. A good infrastructure and food provided by AWWA(being a college primarily for army kids) the time spend at SIMS is worth cherishing. Hugely experianced faculty is really an icing on the cake. All in all a colege where each penny being paid reaps you real rewards.

One of the best "return on investment" MBA institute. Placements are good, and average CTC of the college is 8.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro and Godrej are the recruiters. Maximum package of college is 22 LPA. Good corporate exposure, many corporates come for guest lectures like Adi Godrej. CEO Conclave and Corporate Summit is the flagship corporate event of college besides corporates coming in for guest lectures. CEO Conclave has CEOs coming in from top notch organisation for a talk. Four-panel discussions follow CEO Conclave namely Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance. Visiting faculties are very good and their methodology is such that will help students in the corporate world after college. Permanent faculty needs to be improved. Competitions and other activities held at college help students to learn and nurture their skill set. Various opportunities are provided by the college to the students. Management fests like Bar Code and Orion are amazing. Hostel at SIMS needs much improvement. Water supply is a big issue. There are four seater rooms and three seater rooms only.

Only a select few in-house faculty are good. The college is mainly for dependents of defence personnel. The placement Head is truthful and will always give you a clear picture of the placements each year to the batches depending on various factors which also includes market conditions. They conduct an orientation in the beginning of the two-year program which is the Director's own way of feeling that he is still in the army. They say you will be grilled in the corporate and you have to be prepared for the same but no such grilling happens in corporate. The faculties are great and help you with your studies. Lot of industry exposure. You will experience lot of confidence building to you because of the course . The crowd, teachers, placement head is just too awesome and that is why going to this college is worth it. Pune is a great place to be and the city has a lot of college students which makes it awesome to stay. Placements: Every year is different for B-schools because of the changing market. Apart from the repeat companies, they also bring new companies every year. Not many FMCG companies come here. IT, Banks and Insurance companies form the major chunk. Profiles in marketing offered are more sales based, which is common to any Tier-2 B-school. Comparable to many others,some are Better than LBSIM Delhi. Mess food: Not worth eating. Rooms: average. Campus: clean and beautiful. In time: 10.30 on weekdays and 11.30 on weekends. Flagship course: Marketing Avg Package: Approx 7.5

The college has a lot to offer but yet a lot of spoon feeding which at this level may not be the best thing to do, love how they want us to do everything along with studies and everything is in the hands of the students which can be very useful . Internet speed could be upgraded and also let students allow phones in college it's not a school or a prison gives them freedom. love the 90% attendance rule which may not be a bad thing as at this stage people may tend to bunk classes.

Well, the college has a good residential facility. It has 4 hostels accommodating around 600 students. The college is lacking sports Infrastructure with facility available. Also, the college mess is below average. But on the part of the corporate and industrial exposure, the college is very good.The life at SIMS is unique in its own way with the touch of an Army Institute.

The college doesn't have the infrastructure to provide for 300+ students. More fund needs to be pumped into the infrastructure. Professors are great but again lack of enthusiasm from the students makes them follow a mundane route for teaching Further to that, the environment is very restrictive and should be made a little more liberal for the students to function better. The college has a well-equipped library but a very poor internet connection which hardly ever works. In a digital age like today's it is very important for us to stay connected with the outside world

Located in the mid of the city the college has a crowd with varied experience level and adequate infrastructural facilities to provide the required environment for MBA. At SIMS most of the events and activities are student driven providing enough opportunities to develop oneself. Placements are decent if not excellent. Most of the visiting facilities bring the industry experience to the class. ROI is good as per the placements provided here. Industry exposure and hands on practice on various tools are something on which the college can improve.

The college provides a good library facility with ease of access to all the students. There is also full-time functional gym facility available and pool facility nearby. The College conducts guest lectures by eminent personalities from all sectors. There is also sessions where we can even get the chance to personally interact with them to clear our queries.The college life is so enjoyable because of the activities we are exposed to. There is fun in it as well as the chance to learn.In the hostel, we are provided with locker facility and other necessary facilities. There is also provision for warm water at certain intervals.I expected the skill of time management in professors which most of them are lacking. The student diversity is positively impacting the college as all have something to learn from each other.

The variety of students here is diversely competent, intelligent and from a highly respectable defence background. The faculty of this college are exceptionally trained and experienced professionals with industry exposure. It’s a residential college with all the facilities of very high standards. SIMS is the only reputed college that conducts a rigorous orientation for the students wherein they are trained very methodically (Start with the morning walk at 5am to presentations at 11pm) and are brought out of their comfort zones and are moulded into efficient and high performing corporate professionals.

Overall a good experience after getting into sims in terms of atmosphere and education. Talking about the placement of the college its really good also the exposure to industry is a cutting edge. One thing most of us don't like about sims is the hectic schedule from8:10* till 7pm.hostel life is really worth taking if one want to enjoy college life.

The college has Gym, Swimming pool, Basketball court, Table tennis, Yoga center etc.. Digital library with huge collection of books, the computer lab with licence software and tools like SPSS etc. are available. Guest lectures are awesome. people like Adi Godrej visited the campus. As this is a residential campus, having a strength of approx 600 both 1st year and 2nd year, which is a big crowd to enjoy the college life. I Interned with Emami Ltd from campus placements. Hostel sharing is on 3 or 4 bases where you lose you independence.

The faculties are outstanding, infrastructure is far better than other colleges in terms of the hostel,the classrooms,the sports facilities and the health center. The food in the mess is an issue with almost the same menu every week. The placements are on par with another tier 2 colleges. The crowd is an open minded one so its an awesome college overall.

The auditorium in the academic block is very well constructed. The campus is small so accordingly the use of space has been appropriately managed. There are a lot of guest lectures to add to the industry exposure. Maybe a few industry visits could further account for industry exposure. This college is basically a "Marketing" oriented college, hence it should be able to provide equally good placements for other specializations as well. The only issue with the hostel is that there are bed bugs in the room. The student crowd, most of them being from a Defence background is very socializing and friendly. The fact that the college keeps us busy all the time and there's no time to think of anything else other than academics and extracurriculars, makes the college life very enjoyable.

Good infractructure and faculty . needs better industry exposure. To be frank, I never dreamt I ll enter this great college. Here I got an equal chance to match my skills with both experienced and talented bunch of people. I feel ready to enter the market, I got a good start from SIMS. Now it's upto me to make most of it. You get 100 plus opportunity in this college, still of you can't make it then my friend there will be trouble. #connectwithsims a new initiative is there look up for it, they will give you the glossy image which is not true but again its not bad.

Beginning with a beautiful swimming pool, Symbiosis institute of management studies is an excellent amalgamation of sports and studies with specific care given to practical knowledge in place of theoretical studies. With a rich heritage and culture formed majorly by Army dependents, the college beams with pride when it comes to discipline and works ethic. A strong Alumni and Placement team maintain the corporate connect and provide exposure to the college via corporate meets in different cities and in the campus itself. Professors are favorites among the students of the college for their exceptional knowledge in marketing and finance. Being a Defense dependent institute the college has a great return on investment and with some superb placements, the college does rank among the best in the country. The SIMS way of life is in itself a unique experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. I summarize - I am a Simsite.
