Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program and offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

1. First-year degree courses in Engineering and Technology

(i) Candidate should be an Indian National

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination of with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational Subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

2. Direct 2 Year (Lateral Entry)

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;

(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject.

Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.

Admission Details

Interested students/parents can collect the application from Institute and submit the completed form along with 12th Marksheet, CET/ JEE scorecard, and FC Verification Copy. Students/parents will be informed about the allotment of institute level quota through college website notification. Kindly note that even for institute level quota admission, Registration and Verification & Confirmation of Documents in the Facilitation Centre (FC) is mandatory. College Infrastructure

The campus of college is not huge but it is well equipped It is five floor building with four active lifts.There is separate floor for each depart The lab also has all the required equipment for practical The classroom are also spacious with air condition supports .There is also projector and laptop support which further enhances the teaching method The college also give facility of huge parking lot a hygienic canteen and playing area there is also a saraswati idol on entrance which refresh mind

College Infrastructure

AP Shah is an emerging College in Thane affiliated to University of Mumbai. It has very good infrastructure, air-conditioned classrooms, good library with lot of books, ebooks, and resource materials. They have well equipped labs, spacious auditoriums . They have smart boards installed in each and every classrooms. The canteen is neat and clean with tasty food available to eat. The college premises are always kept clean . They have latest softwares for simulation practicals of various subjects..
