My overall experience with A P Shah is decent . Campus is small with no much space . One turf is there in college where students can play and One BCR (Boys Common Room) for indoor activites . Faculty is Good and well Qualified . Yet The placement of college is below average with the Average package of 3-4Lpa. Very Few events are held in college except for the Fest (Ojus). Classrooms are Wifi enabled and with AC . Labs and equpments are well equiped . Library of college is very good with Full AC and Computers . The canteen is below average but the Cafe is Good . Overall the College is Decent with Good faculty and Teaching .
Good teachers and quality of teaching is also Good . The curriculum is of Mumbai University which seems to be bit outdated. But college puts efforts to be Job-ready. Good Notes provided by college . Thank you
Placement is below average with a Average package of 3-4Lpa. College provide Placemets supports and conduct sessions for students . College also provide GATE Preparation but not free (Not sure) . Thank you
Course Fee is around 1.3 Lacks for Open per Year .
Decent campus life , less campus and just 1 small turf for cricket . Just one moonsoon sports is conducted for freshers . Teachers are good and supportive with College providing good safety measures.
No ground within the college . The building itself is not that big . The have lifts and nice labs . It also has a library which is full ac with a separate dedicated room filled with pc and you can also borrow various books .
Majority of the professor of reads the ppt and don't take any efforts . But there are a lot of professors who give their 100% to the students.there are many useless presentation. You can just depend upon
There is a lot of competition for a normal package jobs ,will suggest to try outside campus. It has like around 6 differents rounds just for a student to be able to apply for 6lpa package . ????????????????????????????????
Yess it is value for money
It totally depend upon you.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure like smartboard, blackboard, Whiteboard ,wifi etc. Sometimes Wifi don't work properly. There is sports ground which we can use.Labs are there though not modern.Food is hygienic.
I am studying engineering because I have interest in this field.Quality of teaching is not bad but not good also. Curriculum is as per MU so not very modern. What we study is not enough for job ready. We have to do extra project and internship for placement.
Since I am still not placed so I don't know much of placement but as heard by seniors the quality is not so good but moderate.55-60% students gets placed.Average salary goes around 4LPA and highest salary depends on student to student but is mostly for computer branch.
Campus Life is moderate. Not very enjoyable but not boring also.Clubs and committees are there in which Students can participate.Teachers are good and students are also friendly.College is safe but is far away from local station.
"I'm loving the vibe at our college! The infrastructure is top-notch, and I feel like I'm studying in a world-class setup. First off, the campus is massive and super modern, with Wi-Fi everywhere and plenty of green spaces to chill. The classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smartboards that make learning interactive and fun. The library is a student's paradise - loads of books, journals, and quiet zones for those intense study sessions. Plus, the digital library is a game-changer, giving us access to tons of e-resources.
The curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant, keeping us ahead of the curve. Classes are engaging with a mix of lectures, discussions, and practicals that make learning fun. Professors are always willing to help, and the mentor-mentee system ensures we've got guidance whenever needed. Plus, guest lectures and workshops by industry experts give us a real-world perspective.
Many students get PPOs, and the college has a good track record of placing students in top companies. Internship opportunities are plenty, giving us a chance to build connections and gain experience. The training and placement cell is super supportive, helping us prep with mock interviews, resume-building, and aptitude tests. They also bring in industry experts for workshops on cracking placements.
Value for money-wise, I'd say our college delivers! The fees are reasonable considering the facilities, faculty, and opportunities we get. From state-of-the-art labs to industry visits, the exposure is worth every penny. Plus, the alumni network and placement support add serious value.
Campus life's pretty chill, but tbh, I don't experience much of it since I head home early. The facilities like sports grounds, library, and canteen are there if you want to stay back, but for me, it's more about academics. If you're into extracurriculars or hostel life, there are plenty of activities and events - clubs, festivals, etc.
Faculty at our college are the real MVPs! They're super approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely want you to succeed. Whether you need help with concepts or career guidance, they're always there. Many profs have industry experience, so they bring real-world insights to the table.
The college offers excellent infrastructure with all classrooms equipped with air-conditioners and smart boards, creating a comfortable and modern learning environment. Additionally, it has well-equipped laboratories that provide hands-on experience and practical learning for students across various disciplines. The facilities support both academic and technological advancement, ensuring students have access to the best tools and resources for their education.
The college has highly qualified and experienced faculties who are not only knowledgeable but also very friendly and approachable. They are always ready to help students with doubts and guidance. Apart from academics, the college also offers various extracurricular activities and skill development courses that help in the overall growth of students. These activities promote teamwork, creativity, and leadership, making learning both engaging and enjoyable.
The placement opportunities at the college are average, as not all students secure jobs through campus placements. Only a few students get placed in reputed companies, and many have to look for opportunities off-campus. While some departments receive better support and placement assistance, the overall placement scenario could be improved with more industry tie-ups, training, and career guidance to ensure more students are successfully placed.
Cost of a course computer engineering is same as per the mumbai university all colleges have so it's okay value for money not so good not so poor.
Campus is good there are different activities for students time to time so you can have a good time with your buddies.
No
There's only one building in our college not a big fan of our campus as well, there's a park in the backyard of our college also there isn't much space for playground or anything there are some indoor game rooms, overall the classroom have AC as well the electricity supply is also pretty good.
We are studying computer engineering but the syllabus of mumbai university is outdated and I don't think that it is much useful in the upcoming future, the teaching methods are also boring and most importantly they don't tell us why we are learning a specific concept, not just for marks but why!. Our curriculum isn't that updated which might give us job, we need to learn stuff ourselves.
There are some descent companies which come to our college during the time of placements, but it's all depends upon the students who are skilled enough to get a job, overall the college is trying it's Best.
The education available on the internet is so far more valuable than any university degree out there, you guys can learn stuff on the internet for absolutely free or far less cheaper than these colleges fees, in this era you guys should only learn about upgrading your skill set rather than just a scoresheet of a good pointer.
Campus life is average, not many people enjoy going to college there are few like minded people so I'm not a fan of going college and enjoying it, I don't enjoy it, I hate to go to college! Overall it's all upto personal preference.
Don't go to university, learn stuff yourselves, you're far more better than these social ideologies and conditioning, go get a life. Learn from the internet don't waste your time going to the university for learning, there's nothing to learn over here.
Yes , our college has almost all necessary infrastructure, talking about the campus area its small but other facilities are good. All the classrooms are Air Conditioned , labs are also good, libraries is also big, good and has space and silence, also every class has WiFi and projectors. All are well maintained. Surronding is very clean and food is also good. Overall everything is well.
I am studying IT, currently in SE. I chose this because i have an interest in it. The quality of teaching is good as all faculties teach well and also clear doubts. The curriculum is based on university set curriculum.
The college conducts pre-placement sessions, placement related session. Talking about the placement rate i currently don't know much, so i can't exactly tell. About the placement process also i don't know much, their are some criteria which you should pass.
The college yearly fees is 135771. If you belong to any cast then it differs accordingly. Also if you apply for scholarship then also it gets reduced. Investing my money to study here is okay as they teach well .
The college classrooms are Air conditioned but the campus area is very small. Their are many co-curricular activities conducted in which students can participate, also their are clubs which are very active. About the students, teachers, and support staff all are good. The location of college is on main highway, it is safe area. The college has a hospital right beside it.
Apsit college has air conditioned classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids such as projector and smart board. The central library has vast collection of books, journals and digital resources. College has wi-fi facilities , hygienic cafeteria and equally hygienic canteen. There is turf , parking zone and rooms for playing games such as table-tennis and carrom.
I preferred for It engineering as there are lot of scope in it and it has more market job value . The quality of teaching was very good. Faculty members are very supportive and helpful with good teaching skills and qualified certifications. While curriculum is up to date , continuous update and feedback remains relevant with updated it development fields.
The college has above average campus placement. Companies such as TCS, Hexaware, Wipro, Aurionpro , Capgemini, KPMG etc comes to the campus. approximately 70% of students from It branch were placed through campus. The highest salary offered was for upto 7 lacs from TCS (IT) and capgemini (5.5). The average salary for IT branch was 4 lacs. College is very supportive in placement process . The placement process was very easy for me . I got placed in 6th semester in KPMG.
The actual fee is nearly 1.3 lacs per year but i have got the scholarship opportunity so mine was 12000. I got TFWS seat on my merit . Yes of course money was of full worth considering fests, placements , infrastructure ,canteens etc
best features were wi-fi enabled campus, supportive faculties, modern infrastructure while worst which i feel was limited campus space. also there were different activities like workshops and webinars, technical clubs etc. students are diversed and engaged and actively participating in both academics and extracurricular activities. Teachers are experienced and supportive while staff was very helpful and efficient.
Overall apsit thane offers a comprehensive educational experience with a focus on both academic excellence and personal growth.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. We have 2 air conditioners in each classroom, and a smartboard. There are 2 libraries. One is an E-Library and the other one is the basic library. There is no availability of hostel facility
The quality of teaching is nice. The curriculum is updated when the Mumbai University updates the curriculum since the college comes under Mumbai University. The professors teach us in a way that makes us ready for all the challenges in that we might face in the job.
The quality of placements is good. The highest number of students were placed from the Computer Science branch followed by Information Technology, EXTC, Mechanical and Civil. There were students coming from all parts of Maharashtra to attend the placement drive and the college staff was also supportive to anyone in need.
The course costs around 1 Lakh 15 Thousand per year. I feel I am getting my money's worth since the qualtiy of education is great and the professor's are helpful and clear all the doubts.
The best feature of the college is the fest. The cultural fest and the technical fest are the 2 fests that are organised every year. The cultural fest consists of the sports fest and the cultural events. In the sports fest all the branches compete against each other to win the trophy, whereas in the cultural fest everyone performs together. The college is located at a distance of 50 meters from the nearest bus stop. The college is also well equipped with emergency equipments.
Great infrastructure for an engineering college, open wifi connection, super hygiene canteen, smart boards in each and every classroom, multiple air conditioners in every labs and classrooms, back-up generators ready for any power outage
Studying BE IT here, no regrets. Faculty conduct extensive lab experiments for better learning understanding of the students the library contains over 4,000 publications for the students to access means of knowledge
Frequent placement activities for both college and outsiders. The placement office conducts pool campus drives for the final year students as well as the ex students ensuring the future of each and every member of the college
College charges only the engineering fee of 1.2L and provides benefits in terms of great labs with Full time access and additional courses for free. Various external courses are conducted by industry experts for students can apply and the college does not charge any fees for it
The tempest is not a large one yet there are ample amenities and facilities provided for students one of them would be a box cricket net behind the college for the students to enjoy during the brakes and during the lectures that they bunk
Awesome
