hey ridhi
Based on previous years' cutoffs and qualifying ranks you have to score around 600 to 620 marks and your ranks should fall into 400-1400 range to get an admission into BJMC for a general candidate in All India Quota.
hope this helped
all the best
Dear Ridhi, as per the previous year cut offs score of 640 fetched a seat in VMMC in GEN CATEGORY under STATE QUOTA. That was for the year 2018.
As we all know the cut offs for the year 2019 were high since the exam was easy. So for this year the cut off was around 665+. The exact figures are not available yet. Having said that the cut offs changes every year as they depend on various factors. Try to score more than the above cut offs to get VMMC.
All the best
Hope this helps

Hello siddhant!
To pursue ms abroad you have to appear and excel the Graduate record examinations(GRE), along with that you also have to clear an english proficiency test like toefl or ielts. The scores in these tests only qualify you to apply in the universities. Along with these scores, the university will also check your academic and co curricular records. So i would suggest you to try and improve your gpa in the coming semesters and start preparing for GRE as soon as possible. Along with this you should also try to diversify your profile by learning new skills, doing internships, social service etc. For further information about procedure and the best universities you can visit the following link: https://studyabroad.careers360.com/country/canada
Hope this helped!
Good Luck!
Hey Siddhant, Hope you are doing good right now. So coming back to your question as you said you got 8 CGPA in class X and 70% in class XII. To tell you if you are looking to get admission in a good B-School definitely your past academic records matters a lot. But their are also some top B-Schools which don't put that much weightage towards your past academic records. If you are willing to give CAT 2020 then make your fundas very clear, get your queries together and get it clarified as early as possible and yes secret to success is to practice a lot of practice and determination. If you get a good score in CAT then you can get admission into new IIM and some other top colleges as well.
If you ask me then I would suggest you to give other exams too like XAT,MAT,NMAT,CMAT ,IIFT and SNAP. All these tests are important and XAT being the bit difficult but XLRI you can target through that. Past academic won't matter that much but it can haunt you but the thing is you should know the strategy to tackle the questions on your low performance in cCass X and Class XII. You would be through if you can make it.
Best of luck and perform your best.
Dear Arun, even if you do not study Mathematics as a subject in your 10+2, you are still eligible for studying CA. There is no particular discipline that you should have completed your 10+2 to be eligible for studying CA. For being eligible for CA Foundation, you should have completed 10+2 and a study period of 4 months. So even if you do not study Mathematics in your 10+2, you are eligible for studying CA.
Hey there
CAT is an exam which one can take after graduation so it is good to see that you are interested in it since from now. For CAT you have plenty of time right now so in current situation you can do best in 12th because 12th percentage matters a lot for a call from iims. Also you can start preparing for aptitude and English from right now.
Check about CAT
Good luck
