Babasaheb Ambedkar Government Polytechnic Tehatta, is counted amongst one of the premier technical institutes of West Bengal. Admission to this government polytechnic is done so that genuine candidates can be selected into various engineering courses.
Babasaheb Ambedkar Government Polytechnic admission process is based upon the entrance examination conducted by WBSCT. For fresh pass-outs, the candidates need to pass the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO). For admission to the second year, the Vocational Lateral Entry Test (VOCLET) is conducted.
