Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology (GKCIET), Malda was established in 2010 by the Ministry of Education. The institute provides education in the field of engineering. The B.Tech programmes of GKCIET Malda are affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal and 3-year diploma programmes are affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTandVEandSD), Kolkata. Pragati Scholarship Scheme	Rs. 50,000 per year	Girl Candidates should be admitted to the First year of Degree level course OR the Second year of Degree level course through lateral entry. For the scholarship maximum of 2 girl children per family are eligible. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
Backward Classes Welfare Department and Tribal Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal: Online Application for Scholarship in Studies (OASIS)- For OBC Students	Maintenance allowance- Rs. 350 per month for day scholars Maintenance allowance- Rs. 750 per month for hostellers	Annual family income should be up to Rs. 1 LPA
West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund (Nabanna) Scholarship	-	Permanent resident of the state of West Bengal. The candidate who is studying in any institution of the State after passing out of the State Board /Council of Secondary Education or a State-aided University in West Bengal. Secured 65% marks in aggregate in the Madhyamik Examination (for H.S level) or 60% in aggregate in the H.S Examination (for UG level) or 55% Marks in the Honours Subject (for PG level) Candidates who didn’t receive any other governmental (central/state) scholarship or stipend for the same course or stage of study during the last year. Annual family income does not exceed Rs. 60000.

The Institute offers Bachelor of Technology course with three different specialisations. Besides this the college also offers seven different certification courses for the students who have cleared 10th or equivalent examinations. The institute provides admission to these courses on the basis of all India entrance test.

As you have tagged the college GKCIET, Malda so if we talk about placement records of this college, so you will hardly placed on-campus because very few companies use to come to this college. If you want to placed in better company after studying from this college then you should develop certain skills which are required for placement and then you have to sit in off-campus placements.

So if you are seeking this college for placements then I would not recommend you.
