Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Civil Engineering:
This course lays down an intake of 60 students per batch. The admission process is strictly dependent on selection lists framed by the BOPEE. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify the PET entrance examination conducted every year for admissions into polytechnic colleges. This course lasts for a period of three years and offers comprehensive civil engineering principles and practices training.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering:
This diploma course, like the civil engineering diploma counterpart, is also for an intake of 60 students. Admission follows the same pattern based on merit ranking from PET and BOPEE merit lists. This is a three-year study program that provides basic electrical engineering principles and skills to the student.
Diploma in Computer Engineering:
This is a very fresh addition to the croft of courses offered in the college, having an approved strength of 30 students. Similar to the other diploma courses, admission would follow the same process, requiring students to clear the PET and be on the BOPEE merit list for selection. This program is designed to meet the growing demand for computer engineering professionals.
Selection will be by special provision available to SC/ST for all courses offered. All such candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the entrance examination to achieve diversity and equal opportunity in technical education.
