Model Institute of Engineering and Technology Jammu has a separate placement and training cell. Placement activities for all the Engineering colleges under the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology Jammu are undertaken together by the Central Placement Cell.

According to NIRF 2025 data, the MIET Jammu median package offered is Rs 3.90 lakhs, and a total of 30 students got placed out of 104 graduating students.
For MIET Jammu PG courses, the median package offered is Rs 4 lakhs, and a total of 56 students got placed out of 86 graduating students.

Placements

Students have to work very hard to get good placements in this college. Otherwise students will only get basic job with average salary. CSE is kind of speciality of this college. There are almost 200 students in computer science. The average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA to 13 LPA.

placements are pretty average and are not that attractive but college does makes some effort to bring more companies to the campus, but students are not always able to crack those packages and highest package is like 13.5 LPA
