The Government College of Engineering and Technology Jammu provides multiple specialisation courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. GCET Jammu courses are offered in a full-time mode. GCET Jammu courses are offered in the stream of engineering and architecture.
The duration of the GCET Jammu courses ranges from two years to four years. To be eligible for courses at the college, the candidates should meet the GCET Jammu eligibility criteria for the desired courses. GCET Jammu fee structure differs from course to course, and it ranges from Rs 1.28 lakhs- Rs 1.35 lakhs.

The college infrastructure is pretty average. It is built on large acres of land and there is just so much left untouched. The building's exteriors are good but the walls inside are just average with a lot of wear and tear in almost all the places. There are multiple labs for everything required, but the computers are slow.
In my college laboratories are well maintained and clean. There are smart boards present in every class. Food in canteen is not that much hygienic. Network here is poor. Sports centre is not so good. Hostels are maintained.
In my college facilities are available. Sports equipments are not so good. Students bring their own equipments to play. Smart boards are also present in the classroom. Libraries and laboratiries are well maintained.

Yes , you can still get admission in GCET Jammu even after the regular counselling is over , provided seats are left vacant . In such cases , the college or the conducting body ( JKBOPEE ) usually announces a spot or mop-up round to fill the remaining

Yes, with 727 rank in JKCET , there are chances to get a lower branch in GCET Jammu, especially in the later rounds of counselling. Branches like Civil, Mechanical or Electrical may be possible. It also depends on the category you belong to and the cut-off trends of that
