Admission to 1st year Diploma programmes is conducted by the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka.

Candidates seeking lateral entry admission to the 3rd semester (Second Year) must have passed SSLC or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
