Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda Polytechnic, Sullia, is running six full-time Diploma programs in Engineering with a duration of 3 years each. The polytechnic is recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and follows the admission guidelines promulgated by the Government of Karnataka for Diploma-level technical education.

An applicant for admission must have passed 10th standard or an equivalent examination from a board recognized by the government. The marks obtained are the basis of admission to a Technical Diploma in Government or Private.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  60 seats in total. The course emphasizes manufacturing and mechanical systems, and the students will be selected on merit-based exams.

• Diploma in Automobile Engineering
  Intake: 60-seat course designed for those interested in automotive.

• Diploma in Computer Science Engineering
  Intake: 60 seats. Projected to the students with an interest towards software and technologies of computers.

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  Intake: 55 seats. Best suited for candidates who want to pursue electrical and electronic systems.
