NIT Nagpur Admission Process
Nagpur Institute of Technology Nagpur admission is offered to one undergraduate level programme, BE. There are five specialisations of the BE/BTech course at NIT Nagpur in which admissions are provided. Nagpur Institute of Technology BTech admissions 2026 are based on the MHT CET/ JEE Mains entrance examination scores.
Interested candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria specified by NIT Nagpur and appear for the entrance exams before applying. After the exams, Nagpur Institute of Technology admission proceeds after the preparation of a merit list based on the candidates' scores, and those who meet the cutoff are invited for counselling rounds. Admission will be based on the entrance exam results.

The academic I have in my college was good I have experienced to good because my past was not good about academic so I have experienced good academic by these professors and also the educate ourself for our future

The infrastructure that I have was average and the facilities and the equipment provided by the college faculties for all we are also very good and they also gave can take facility to the students of the college

Don't know about placement because the placement at was average and I have not placed from this college so the placement I have heard about this college was good enough for the top scored students who scored maximum and have skills

Academics
I am studying BTECH in Computer SScience and Engineering. The teachers here are good and the teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is updated according to the university and makes necessary developments in the field.
College Infra
We have necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments, good facilities in laboratries and also in libraries. Good sports equipments. Even the food is of good qquality. The canteen is maintained and hygienic.
Campus Life
The college campus is big, but the problem is it is away from the main city and much deeper in the area. No vehicles are available to go there except for the college buses. The teachers and support staff are average, like, some are good and some are not.
Placements
Tge placements of the college are average as of the record till today. The highest salary package is said to 5 lakh per anum which went to Computer branch maybe, not sure about that. I am not sure about the percentage of students placed.
Value For Money
Per year fees is from 50000 to 1 lakh, but, a girl student, I had to pay just 11000, and 18000 thousand if we include uniform and other required procedures during admission. I think that we are getting worth the money as they provide us courses that we don't have to pay for.

Academics
The teaching faculty is cooperative and some professors are really knowledgeable and supportive. The syllabus is mostly in line with current industry trends. That said, not all faculty members are equally experienced, and sometimes teaching becomes more theory-oriented than practical. Guest lectures and workshops are held, but not very frequently.
College Infra
The college campus is decent and developing. The classrooms are well-maintained with smart boards in some of them. The library is well-stocked with academic books and journals, which is a plus. However, the campus lacks proper recreational spaces, and some labs still need better equipment and regular maintenance.
Placements
Placement opportunities are average. A few students get placed in reputed companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro, but most offers come with basic salary packages. The placement cell does try, but more efforts are needed to bring in core companies, especially for non-CS branches.
