Hey!

NIFT is popular for its placements. College has placement record of 90-95% in top recruiting companies such as  Tata motors, Fitjee, cognizant,L&T, Vedanta, career point and many more. Average package offered to the students is around 5Lakhs per annum. Also, college has very experienced faculty members and even some of them has done phd in their subjects.

Hope I answered your query.

Thankyou

Hello Srinivas. Since you belong to obc category, you can apply for obc scholarship that is given by the government wherein you will get a certain amount of the fees back. For this your family income should be less than 1 lakh and also various other rules are given by different colleges. You will have to provide with all the documents in order to avail the scholarship. Good luck.

Hello Aspirant,

Chemical Engg is a diverse field. You have n number of companies, n number of vacancies and wider scope when it comes to pursue further studies.

If you select Petroleum, your choices and options narrow down. Limited number of companies, Limited scope for further studies in India.

In both cases you may be posted in fields.

Petroelum from RGIPT, I know many people in the best companies from Shell to IOCL TO ONGC. Also toppers in GATE. You can connect with them.

Good Luck for Chemical engineering.

Hello aspirant,

Coming to the placements, as the college additionally provides the students an education of foundry and forge also. Therefore, companies find it beneficial for themselves to select candidates from this college for jobs. The college is having two branches only which increases the chances for students to get a job in any of the numerous companies coming to recruit students. As a result, almost every student sitting in the placements ends up getting a decent job. Highest placements this year was 7.5 lacs per annum and the average package went on to be 3.5 lacs per annum.

No you cannot get nift, your rank is low and with such rank you won't be able to qualify for the national institute of fashion technology. You should fill out the jeece form, which gives admission on the basis of JEE main score in the colleges present in Jharkhand.

Good luck

The National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology in Ranchi is one of the best and affordable colleges. The placement is quite good as almost 90-95% of the graduating candidates get placed every year in the major campus recruiters such as TATA Motors, KPMG, TATA Metalik, Kirloskar, Hinduja Foundry, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, DCM, etc. The average package offered by  these companies is around 3-4 lacs per annum, which is similar to the packages received after placement from most of the colleges.

I hope this answer clears your query.

Hi Divakar,

For admission to B.Tech there are two ways:

  • Pass the 10+2 exam for a recognized board with 55 % or more marks(for general category)
  • Get entry in B.Tech or B.Tech lateral entry after completing your diploma.

As ADC is a diploma in Forge Technology, you can get into B.Tech lateral entry of the same branch.

Hope it helps
