National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), Ranchi was established in 1966, has five main teaching departments Foundry Technology, Forge Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, and Department of Applied Science and Humanities (DASH). I am studying metallurgical and materials engineering in National Institute of Advance Manufacturing Technology because this category is very interesting . The quality of education here is very nice. All professors are Phd scholars form IITs the best institutions of our country. Our professors have developed syllabus such that it includes all those things which makes us job ready.
I am pursuing my B. Tech here in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is quite good for this college as the way of teaching in metallurgy is especially good in this college. The curriculum is up to date and many new things will develop in the research and development field here. This college makes the person job ready along with the necessary knowledge that he will tackle in life.
Academics is chilled type. I mean to say there is no such pressure like other colleges, you just have to study during or before exams. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. Most important part is, many students get good rank in GATE each year.

Average Package offered is 4.50lakhs. you may have heard about the girl named Jaya Gupta, final year student of B.tech Metallurgical Engineering from nifft ranchi who has become national topper in metallurgy in gate exam. Faculty is very supportive and helping. It is one of the best option.
