BIT Sindri Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

As per my experience, college infrastructure is not upto the ideal expectation. It is neither too good not too bad. Current lecture halls and laboratories are not good but new lecture halls and research centres is almost completed. Sports infrastructure is not upto the mark.

I am studying computer science because I had a interest in web development. Quality depends upon the teacher, some are good whereas some are not understandable. Our syllabus is outdated and it needs to revised. Core sector is very good but coding culture in the campus is not upto the mark.

Placements for core sector is very good whereas it's average for Computer science and information technology branch though college is very supportive in terms of placement. Avg package is around 7lpa and highest on campus is around 16 lpa.

It is definitely value for money as it is affordable with good returns.

Campus Life is boring but students are very engaging and it provides a good environment.

All new bulidings are good in design as well as they looks too much attrective like new admin building, lecture hall, auditorium,1st year hostel etc..but yeah old department building are not that meet your expectations ..

Acadmics are good like all college not too much updated .. Like in 1st year basis of all subjects you have too study.. After that your branch subject starts form 2nd year onwards..Top notch faculty members and supportive..

Placement report Good according too other government engineering college in jharkhand this college no 4 in that list after iit ,nit,iiit. Overall good placement rates like around 90 percent students who appeared for placement get their placements..

You don't find this much less amount college in jharkhand like here their total academic fees of four years is around 80 thousand.. which is very less which compare from other colleges..but yeah mess fees is 4200 per month..

Not good that because of this college is 25 km from dhanbad and near college area not that much developed area like if you find like cities for entertainment, movies, party you have too go dhanbad ..yeah that's all

Bit Sindri established in 1949 and carries a long legacy of excellence and shaping the future of the country. It has well maintained essentials and facilities such as hostels , sports centres lecture hall, laboratories and library.

I think curriculum is not updated and is outdated. But still it has ability to make industry ready engineers. I chose information technology for getting a job in IT sector. Teaching quality varies with teachers.

Placement for information technology and Computer science is good but generally mass recruiters visit the campus. Companies which visits are TCS, infosys etc. average package is around 7 lpa and highest is 16 lpa.

It is absolutely value for money for the students from any background.

Campus life is fun as students environment is good

Hostel Room condition is Nice and Comfortable.It is Two sharing room with lift installed in room.There is a Club Ground near the hostel which is well maintained and good for various Sports. The classroom condition is Decent but not as much good as the private one.

Currently,I am pursing BTECH in Information Technology in this college. I get this college from JCECEB counselling .The main pro's of this college is the fees in this college is very low . The Quality of teaching is also Decent.

The Placement of this college is also good .But for the CSE and IT student the company comes little lower than the core branch like Mechanical,Electrical,Civil ,metal etc. The Average Package of the college is 7 LPA. and the highest package of this college is 16LPA (on campus) .

I rate it very Good for the student who comes from middle class Family because of its fees .

Campus life is decent.But there are some restriction in first year.

Overall i rate this college over 8 out of 10 .

Infrastructure here is mostly good as there is everything such as hostels, sports centres, lecture halls, laboratories, Admin building, Seminar halls, canteens, departments of each branch and a central library. Most of the facilities are well maintained but in lecture halls and laboratories there are deficit of good facility.

Curriculum is neither too easy nor too tough. It covers the syllabus very high in depth and exams are generally not too hard. Teachers may be good or may be not good but all are highly qualified in their respective field.

Placements of production is very decent and often companies like Sail visits the campus during placements. In core branches every year it is good. Average package is 7.5 lpa and highest placement goes upto 16 lpa.

College cost very less and give good returnd

Campus Life is too poor as very less big events are organised.

The campus has good academic building ,well equipped classrooms , laboratories and a library that support learning effectively . The hostel and other basic facilities are satisfactory . However there is still room for improvement in some areas .

The faculty members are knowledgeable , supportive and always willing to help students . The curriculum is well structured and provides a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical learning .

The college provide good placement support , with many reputed companies visiting the campus every year . The training and placement cell actively helps with training aptitude preparation and interview guidance.

The quality of education , experienced faculty , campus facility and overall learning experience make the fees worth paying . Student receive excellent academic support and opportunities , making it a great investment for their future .

The campus offers a vibrant and friendly environment with various clubs, cultural events, sports activities and technical fests. Student get plenty of opportunities to learn, interact and build lasting friendships.

BIT Sindri has a good reputation among the colleges in Jharkhand. In first year, students get best facilities and get well maintained hostels. Lecture halls and laboratories are average not too good. There is a central library which has good books in every field.

Curriculum is very decent and it is simple and easy. Teachers are very qualified and experienced. Exams are generally taken by JUT. Sometimes exam are rescheduled to other date. I chose information technology for good branch after cse.

For Information technology, placements are not that much good, it is average so don't expect too much like NITs ot IITs but it has strong alumini network. Average package was around 7.5 lpa and highest package is around 16 lpa.

It has highest ROI among all colleges in jharkhand.

Campus life is decent cause of regular events.

However the college is very old (of 1949) . The infrastructure is reliable and good and new buildings are inaugurated and hostels also made in recent year which are quite good and modern type . Thank you

There is a good record of academics of the bit sindri and considered as one of the prestigious college of the era . The practical learning facilities in college is limited . The working of better academisc is going on.

The half decades data of placement is not so good because of slow adaptation of this new era of technology and education. However core department placement data is quite good (like mining and metal department.)

The education and living cost are very low as compare to other private institute which is very reliable

Campus life here feel boring after some time of living here . Your hostel life feels quite goods , your college / studying feels boring ????. The main city area is around 25 km away from college

College is spread over a wide area which have well maintained hostel, lecture hall and each building from each departments. Other than that there are sports ground, laboratories. New buildings are on construction.

Syllabus is very simple and easy to understand but exam management is not upto the par. Most of the times, exams are rescheduled and postponed to other dates. The quality of teaching is good as they explain topics easily.

The placement is decent for core branches and for civil it is almost similar to tier 2 National institute of technology. Average placement is nearly to 7.5 lpa. Highest placements vary every year, previous year it was 16 lpa on campus.

College fees is very affordable and it also gives high returns.

Campus life is good as on regular basis events and fests are organized

BIT SINDRI DHANBAD consist of approx area of 400 acres with variety of creatures new lecture hall, large library with latest books , there are total 31 hostels with all facilities, big central ground(sports) , nears to sindri town railway station

Good faculties are very helpful.syllabus is followed through jharkhand University of technology ranchi , there are mid sems and end sem for each semester. First year comprise of engineering maths, indian knowledge system

Placement of core branches have placement percentage upto 90% total branches eleven branches are there where mechanical, electrical,chemical have 95% placement ratio followed by electronics , metallurgy
