BIT Sindri Admission Process

BIT Sindri, Dhanbad offers admissions at the undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, with B.Tech and M.Tech being the courses available. BIT Sindri UG admissions are granted based on the marks obtained in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by the JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand followed by participation in the counselling process.

The BIT Sindri lateral entry admissions to diploma holders in engineering and technology are made in the 3rd semester through a competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches is 10% of the normal seats. For BIT Sindri PG admissions, candidates must possess a valid score on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and pass a written test and interview conducted by BIT Sindri.

BIT Sindri B.Tech Course Admissions 2024

Candidates can apply for admission in any specialisations of the 10 BIT Sindri B.Tech courses, which have a duration of 4 years. It also provides lateral entry admissions in the 3rd semester of the B.Tech programme through competitive examinations conducted separately for the diploma holders.

BIT Sindri B.Tech Admission Process

Candidates must apply and appear for the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by the JCECE board.
After clearing the exam, candidates must appear for counselling conducted by the JCECE board.
Candidates must choose the desired course and choose BIT Sindri, Dhanbad as their desired institution during counselling.
Candidates must get their documents verified and pay the admission fees for final admissions.

BIT Sindri M.Tech Course Admission 2024

Candidates can apply for admission to any of the 13 BIT Sindri M.Tech courses. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and have a valid GATE score are eligible for a monthly stipend as per the AICTE / Government-approved norms. Non-GATE candidates can also apply for admissions but they would not receive any stipend.

Academics

Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and support students in appearing for the GATE exam. They teach as per the curriculum. Semester exams are very challenging; you have to put in effort to pass. A one-night study will not help you pass the exam.

Experiences are very excited and excellent and expensive

Our academics of BIT Sindri is updated and almost the course for 1st year is same. Teaching style varies upon professors to professors. Academics are followed under the National education policy 2020. The academics not only encourages bookish knowledge but also experimental knowledge. There are labs and experiments done every week.

Overall it's a good college.

Bit sindri has ten departments and all departments are well equipped.classes are held on regular basis . There is good facilities of labs and workshops . 75% attendance is compulsory for appearing in exams

What was JEE rank for general category to get admission in BIT Sindri

Hello aspirant,

Based on past year's trends, I think you need to be at least in the 93 percentile to get into ECE, ME, or EE, or maybe Mining or Metallurgical, to get admission in BIT Sindri. You roughly need ranking under 80,000 in JEE Mains for admission in this college.

Hello,

For B.Tech degree in BIT, you have to appear for state's own entrance test, JCECE conducted by Govt. of Jharkhanad.

For M.Tec, you have to appear for GATE exam.

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of jee mains are as follows -

Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

But you can sit for jee mains and try to get a good percentile so that you can get a good branch in BIT Sindri.
