The Al Kabir Polytechnic offers admissions at the diploma level in six branches of engineering. The duration of the course is 3 years. The college also offers lateral entry in the diploma program from the second year onwards.

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 35% marks in the 10th standard from the Jharkhand State Board or any other recognised board.

• The candidate should have appeared for the JCECE examination of the Government of Jharkhand.

• For lateral entry in the Diploma's 2nd year, the candidate must have passed the 12th standard from any recognized board with science stream. Or else should have done a one year technical course or ITI in a trade in order to qualify for enrolment in that particular branch.

• Go to the official website of the college and click on the “Registration now for counselling” button on the website.

• You will be redirected to an application form, where you need to fill various fields.

• Start filling out your application form carefully and select the program you are applying for along with the branch name. 

• Upload all the necessary documents such as 10th, migration certificate, character certificate, proof of caste certificate (if applicable), recent photographs and also upload your signature.

• After you've completed the application form, you'll need to pay the application fee. You can do this using online methods like net banking, credit/debit card, or other available online options.

• Take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

After the successful completion of the registration process, the college will declare the admission date. The eligible candidates will have to submit their relevant documents and fee.
