NIAMT Ranchi Facilities

National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Ranchi provides several infrastructural facilities to the students, staff and faculty members. NIFFT Ranchi facilities are crucial for all educational course degrees and especially for science and engineering or technological course studies since they require more practical experience and understanding.

National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology Ranchi facilities include a central library for its students, where they can gain the maximum knowledge from scholars around the world. The NIFFT Ranchi also provides infrastructure facilities to each department as per their requirement. The list of NIFFT Ranchi facilities offered is given below in detail.

Boys Hostel
Residential facilities are provided to students in four boys’ hostels. All the necessary facilities are available for the boys students.
Girls Hostel
Separate hostel facilities are available for the girls' students. Recreational facilities are also available for all the hostel students.
Medical/Hospital
Health facilities are provided to students and staff as a doctor, and two paramedical staff with an adequate facility are available on the campus in case of any medical emergencies. Basic life-saving equipment is also provided by the institute. An ambulance is also provided in case of sudden emergencies on the campus.
Gym
The college has gym facility for the students. NIFFT Ranchi gym facilities are equipped various machines and weights.
Library
The Library marked its existence in 1966. Since then, it has grown in size and content along with National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology to take the present shape. All these years, it has been the lifeline for the academic activity of the Institute. It has more than 50,143 reading Materials (Books, Bound Volume of Journals, Standards, Transparencies, Slides, Videocassettes, Microfilms and LRsetc).
I.T Infrastructure
The Centralised Computer Centre's main concern is to boost and add the IT Infrastructure Development, maintenance, and growth of employees and students in NIFFT. The Centre provides WIFI Network to its campus, advanced computing facility, and campus-wide software, where students can carry out computing and practical works and enhance their computing skills.

Good infrastructure btech , mtech hostels, administrative building lecture hall and CCC labs library and library contains many course books and simcore lab Gymkhana playground Mandir and everywhere there is greenery.

Kind of a small campus area with basic facilities but the good thing here is that you can get daily stuffs nearby college. Infrastructure is outdated and needs to be upgraded according to the present day requirement.

How is nifft ranchi for girls in metallurgy branch ?? iIs it good or bad ??

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you.It is good for girls as well. The college has good placement records. Average Package offered is 4.50lakhs. you may have heard about the girl named Jaya Gupta, final year student of B.tech Metallurgical Engineering from nifft ranchi who has become national topper in metallurgy in gate exam. Faculty is very supportive and helping. It is one of the best option.
