Government Engineering College Palamu admission is available for undergraduate degrees. GEC Palamu offers BTech programmes with various specialisations. GEC Palamua BTech admission is offered on the basis of candidates' JEE Main entrance examination results.
GEC Palamu admission capacity of BTech programme is 300. Aspirants who are interested in acquiring admission at GEC Palamu, are required to follow the rules and regulations governed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Jharkhand State.

GEC Palamu BTech Admission Process 2025-26
Eligible students are advised to submit the online or offline application forms.
Aspirants are shortlisted based on scores acquired in the JEE Mains entrance exam.
Merit students are advised to appear on campus on said date and time for further processing.
Seats are allotted based on the student's performance in the counselling process.
Once the allocation of seats is done, students are advised to pay the course fee and submit the documents for verification to prove the authenticity of their credentials.

All HOD'S and professors are excellent, ass. professors are some what good .curriculum is updated and with self effort and hardwork you are job ready. how's are trying their best for placement of students .
College Infra
Infrastructure is far better than bit sindri.all necessity are available and laboratory should be open from new academic session of 2024 batch.campus is clean and have healthy environment .green campus with properly maintained .
Campus Life
Good campus with proper cleaning and hygiene. Sports facility are available . but located at a distance of 15 km from DaltonGanj market.
Placements
Not any batch is graduate till now,but it seems that on campus placements will also occur at our college . you can take it as a safe option .also no need to worry about internship you can apply for it through intershalla and other websites provided by faculty members.

Academics
No doubt best in class Teacher ❤️?? Most supportive teachers I have ever seen because most of the teachers aur from BIT SINDRI. And a can guarantee you that you will enjoy learning here because you can clear you doubt anytime from the Professor .
College Infra
Highly advance infrastructure till now in Jharkhand. Every Class Room have Air Conditioning (AC) ❄️. There are lifts / Elevator ? in main building as well as Hostels ?. But for now there is lack of equipment in the lab because it is a New Government College and it requires some time for development of the lab because Government take time to approve the bill. Hostels are so amazing ? and we'll developed. Mess is also preety much good but do not expect home like food.
Campus Life
Amazing ? campus life no doubt we enjoy very much in the Hostel . But only one negative thin is that it has very small campus area ?.
Placements
As this is the 1st year of the college there is no Placement... But the most important thing is that it is integrated from BIT SINDRI so there is the chance of getting placement or refrence from BIT SINDRI but it is not clear till now But the professors told us that they will support us in getting placement and they will help us to invite many companies for the Campus Placement.?
Value For Money
Most Most Value For Money College in whole Jharkhand. It has the same fee structure like BIT SINDRI which is very low . And it also give facilities of E- Kalyan.

My name is pratham Kumar. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in technology in electrical engineering branch at government engineering College Palamu. There ar bethe best teachers. They are taking the class regularly and always try to clear our concept and they are all masters and PhD degree holders.
College Infra
My college have all the necessary things like facilities, infrastructure, and equipments are available. There is very good infrastructure and all the facilities like wifi, Library, labs, canteen and etc. There is very hygienic and good quality of foods are available.
Campus Life
I am leaving the best campus Life beacuse there is extra curricular activities will be organised there are establishing the arts and cultural club, codding club, NSS, sports clubs. There are best sports facilities. Students, teachers and staffs always like to sea the beautiful campus and there are all the students are very hardworking. Now, We can't say about the placements because it is newly established college we are the first batch of this collegem we will passing out in the college on the year of 2026. But this is a fully government engineering College then componies will visit the campus for the placements. In our college starting the procedure of training and placement cell establishment so we can say componies will be vist and we will get good package
Value For Money
Government engineering College, Palamu is a fully government College so there fees are very low. Only 15k per year fees of the college. Yes i fell I am getting my money's worth because college fees are very low and academics are very best there all facilities we are getting. So this the best college in upcoming days
