Periyar EVR College (PEVRC), Tiruchirappalli was established in the year 1965 by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Honourable M. Bhakthavachalam. The college is also known as PEVRC Tiruchirappalli. It is a state government autonomous college situated in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. PEVRC Tiruchirappalli campus is spread over an area of 52.62 acres of land. The college has been accredited with 'A' grade by NAAC. National Service Scheme

NSS is a volunteer association of young people in colleges, universities, and at the 10+2 level who work for a campus-community linkage. The goal of establishing this National Service Scheme on the college campus is to raise social awareness among students and to help them develop their personalities by studying and working in the camps. On the college campus, there are four NSS units such as three for male students and one for female students.

Youth Red Cross

The Indian Red Cross Society includes the Youth Red Cross. The major goal of this club is to increase awareness about taking care of their own health and to foster a spirit of service and a sense of duty within the student community via dedication and devotion. The main operations of YRC include Campus Cleaning, First Aid Camps, and health and nutrition programmes.

Red Ribbon Club

RRC is an initiative launched by the Government of India in schools and colleges to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among students. The symbol Red Ribbon as an awareness ribbon is used to represent the solidarity of individuals living with HIV/AIDS, as well as to raise awareness and combat drug abuse and drunk driving.

Legal Literacy Club

The main goal of this club is to raise legal knowledge among young people and to identify the problems of their fellow citizens in the neighbourhood. This club has 100 students enrolled as members of this club and they are given legal awareness by judges and advocates from Tiruchirappalli District Court.

Citizen Consumer Club

The Consumer Club functions with the primary goal of raising awareness among students, as well as their friends, families, and neighbourhoods, and thus the broader society in which they live.

Rotaract Club

Periyar EVR College Rotaract club was founded in 2016. The Rotary Mid-Town Trichy is the parent club of the college Rotaract club. More than 75 students from diverse departments are members of this club. This club is led by a coordinator, a student president, a student secretary, and a student treasurer (student).

The college offers several facilities for students on the campus.
