Shoolini University Admissions 2025
ApplyNAAC A+ Grade | Ranked No.1 Private University in India (QS World University Rankings 2025)
Hi
Kiit is one of the top private college in Orissa. It got 44 rank in nirf ranking in overall category. It got 42 rank in nirf engineering category. Various NITs are below kiit. The curriculum, academics, infrastructure is very good. But on the other hand it is also expensive.
You have to give JEE, Bitsat and mhcet. Through JEE students get selected for JEE Advanced and if they clear they get into IITs. Also, through JEE students get into NITs and IIITs. Bitsat is also a good option but there are 150 questions to be solved in 3 hours which is quite difficult. If you have believe in yourself that you can perform well in JEE and BItsat because the current pandemic has done serious harm to students preparation, you will have to give a hold to kiit and do your best in JEE and Bitsat. If you believe that you can't do you can join kiit and accept the books an study material from kiit. This is the decision you have to take according to your preparation of entrance exams.
NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.
In India,w e have Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. And admission to these Institutions is conducted through All India Counselling and State Counselling. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
Now for both All India Counselling and State Counselling, you should register once the NEET merit list has been released. There will be Round 1, Round 2 and Mop up Round for Counselling. You need to register for Counselling. So the steps are:

The revaluation process takes around 15-20 days. Fee is INR 505/- per answer script.
However, It is not advisable for the candidate to apply for revaluation if he/she is not confident of their performance and take unwanted risk in their career by losing more marks.
