VSICS Kanpur admissions are provided for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the institute. Dr Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies, Kanpur admissions are granted based on the merit of the previous qualifying exam or entrance test, followed by a counselling round. VSICS UG admissions to the BBA and BCA degree courses are done based on the scores of the 12th standard obtained by the candidates.
For VSICS PG admissions to the MBA and MCA programmes, a valid scorecard of the UPCET entrance exam is required, followed by a counselling round. Lastly, candidates have to get their documents verified at the VSICS Kanpur campus and pay the course fees.

Academics
The academic environment is good, and the faculty members are generally supportive and approachable. The teaching focuses on both theoretical concepts and practical understanding. The curriculum provides a useful foundation for the course and helps students develop their knowledge and skills. With some additional industry-oriented exposure and practical projects, the academic experience could become even better.
College Infra
The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, library and other basic facilities. The campus is generally clean and comfortable for students. Classrooms have the necessary equipment for regular academic activities. The overall infrastructure is good, although there is still some scope for further improvement and modernization of facilities.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent and provides students with opportunities to interact, participate in activities and build new experiences. The teachers and support staff are generally cooperative, and the overall environment is comfortable for students. The campus is reasonably well maintained and offers a positive atmosphere for learning as well as social interaction. More regular events and extracurricular activities could make campus life even better.
Placements
The placement opportunities at the college are average. Around 400 out of 650 students were placed, which is approximately 60%.
