Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks. Now as you have already taken 1 year drop so I would not recommend you take drop again and you should go with some colleges like :-
For complete list of colleges which you can get on such low ranks refer to the link given below :-
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!

see there is two ways for you to become a software engineer, either you go for b.sc course in computer science which follows by an master of computer application course of 2 years. another path is you may go for bachelors in computer application course follows by master of computer application i.e MCA course.
however you may also do m.sc in computer science course , then join for master of technology in computer science. however you must select a tier 1 institute to study where placement records is good.
there is many start up companies hires bca graduates as a software engineer, you may do some web development or software programming courses to enhance your skills and job security. but top mncs has most priority for btech / mca degree holders.

hey there i am here to answer your question
1. first you have to fill an online application form for DU mentioning course you want to take admission in. you will also be required to fill your class 12 board marks.
2. after that wait for cut off list
3. For the Bsc courses, the cutoffs are to be calculate as
For Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, etc your cutoffs are calculated as per your percentage in PC & M/B whichever is applicable.
For Mathematical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, cutoffs are calculated as the aggregate of marks in mathematics, one language subject and two best elective subject.
4. DU will release its cutoff list on DU website and college website associated with DU and some of the leading newspaper. Check, in which college's cutoff you fall.
5. if you get selected after that you have to login into the admission portal and select the college/ course where you wish to take admission.
6. take the print out of your registration and rush towards the college and get your document verified and make to attach the necessary document.
7. the college will then approve your admission n the ug admission portal and your certificate will remain in the college during the admission process
8. then you will have to login to the UG admission portal. your admission fee payment through the available online payment option.
9. if by any chance you could not make it to the college of your choice i the first list. you can wait the for the other list. DU releases 5 cut off list.
Hey!
If you have applied to colleges based on your result or an exam rank the next step would be to wait for the cutoff to be released. Once, the cutoff is released you'll know if you got selected in any of the colleges you applied to after that you'll have to submit the fee and you'll get your enrollment letter. Based on the situation all of this might happen online. So, as of now just lookout for when the cutoff or the college name list is going to be released.
