The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), is the method of selection for the IAF's Flying branch.
The next step after completing high school is to obtain a graduating degree from an accredited university in any discipline. In the meanwhile, you can begin getting ready for the CDSE exam, which entails a written test followed by a personal interview and a medical exa m.
During your graduation, you can enlist in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Air Wing, which will improve your chances of being chosen for the Flying branch.
