Greetings aspirant!

There is a permanent commission and short service commission, recruitment will depend upon which service you are thinking to join. Recently women were allowed to join permanent commission as well.

The ways you can join Naval forces are :-

  • Upsc entry:- upsc hold examination twice a year for admitting candidates into permanent commission. Their are two exams choice. The NDA (National Defense Academy)/INA (Indian Naval Academy) entry for 12th standard candidates (or pass outs) with Physics, Chemistry Maths subjects, and the CDSE (Combined Defense Services Examination) for college graduates. There is also an option of NCC entry which doesn't require any entrance, it is done on qualification in NCC.
  • Non- upsc entry:- Direct Entry PC and SSC schemes are usually accompanied by an SSB interview and medical fitness test.Interviewees are shortlisted typically based on their education and percentage scores, Engineering ranks, etc.

Please refer the link below it will help you further.

NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.

In India,w e have Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. And admission to these Institutions is conducted through All India Counselling and State Counselling. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.

Now for both All India Counselling and State Counselling, you should register once the NEET merit list has been released. There will be Round 1, Round 2 and Mop up Round for Counselling. You need to register for Counselling. So the steps are:

  1. Appear for NEET and qualify
  2. Wait for the results and the merit list
  3. Register for Counselling by paying refundable and non refundable fees
  4. During Choice Locking, select Colleges that you want a seat in
  5. And once the seat has been alotted join the College if you like or participate in the further Rounds.

It is as per CBSE's discretion to increase or decrease the marks based on what the student has written in the Answer Booklet. Post revaluation, your marks can either increase or decrease and no further appeal is entertained by the CBSE. Those will be final scores.

The revaluation process takes around 15-20 days. Fee is INR 505/- per answer script.

However, It is not advisable for the candidate to apply for revaluation if he/she is not confident of their performance and take unwanted risk in their career by losing more marks.
