Shri Tulja Bhavani Engineering College has given an admission framework to the aspiring engineer in the Osmanabad city. Known for its quality education and modern facilities, the institute admits undergraduate and postgraduate students to various engineering programs. It constitutes merit-based admission into STBCE; therefore, national and state level entrance exams are considered for admissions.
In the normal cycle, admission starts in May-June, building up toward the academic year of August-September. For undergraduate students, this college accepts either MHT CET or JEE Main scores. In addition, this college bases its postgraduate admissions using the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE).
For the B. Tech, the aspirant should have completed his 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. A candidate must have a non-zero score in either MHT CET or JEE Main before being considered. M.E. requires applicants to hold a degree in the relevant engineering discipline and also have a valid GATE score.
Application Procedure
Admission Procedure at Shri Tulja Bhavani College of Engineering is different for all courses.
For B.Tech programs:
1. Appear MHT CET or JEE Main examination.
2. Register on the centralized admission process conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
3. Fill the option form with STBCE and the courses of choice.
4. In case of seat allotment, report to STBCE for the purpose of document verification and payment of fees.
For M.E. courses:
1. Qualify for the GATE examination with a valid score.
2. Apply through the centralized admission process for postgraduate courses of Maharashtra.
3. Fill option form mentioning STBCE and desired M.E. program.
4. On selection go to STBCE and complete admission formalities.
Degree Wise Admission Method
B.Tech: STBCE provides four B.Tech programmes, namely, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Admission into these disciplines is based on the performance of candidates in either MHT CET or JEE Main. Admission into B.Tech programmes is permitted for the total number of 240 seats, with Computer Science and Engineering having a maximum of 120 seats.
M.E.: The college has three M.E. courses: Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Water Resource Engineering. The admissions to these courses are based on the GATE score. Each M.E. program has an intake of 9 seats, with a total of 27 seats for postgraduate engineering courses.
