UIET KUK B.Tech Admissions 2026
UIET Kurukshetra admissions are provided to a comprehensive four-year full-time undergraduate programme known as B.Tech. Apart from regular admissions, UIET Kurukshetra admission is also provided in the 2nd year of the UIET B.Tech course through a lateral entry scheme for diploma holders.

UIET Kurukshetra B.Tech Admission Process
Candidates first have to meet the UIET Kurukshetra admission eligibility criteria and appear for JEE Main, conducted by NTA.
After the declaration of results, ranks and scores will be published.
After that, candidates have to register for Haryana B.Tech admission and fill in their preferences. Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) will release the merit list and cutoff based on the scores of the JEE Main.
Candidates meeting the UIET Kurukshetra B.Tech cutoff and whose names are on the merit list have to appear for online counselling, conducted by HSTES.
Based on the merit list, seats will be allotted for the B.Tech course admission at UIET Kurukshetra.
Selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the UIET Kurukshetra fees to confirm admission.
UIET KUK M.Tech Admissions 2026
There are 7 UIET Kurukshetra M.Tech courses in various fields like Thermal Engineering, Defence Technology, Computer Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The duration of UIET Kurukshetra M.Tech courses is 2 years.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology Kurukshetra M.Tech Admission Process
First, meet the UIET Kurukshetra admission eligibility criteria and appear for GATE, and get a valid score.

UIET Kurukshetra’s curriculum includes recent topics like AI and ML, showing efforts to stay updated..we have to do extra effort and learn new skills to get ready for jobs and future . curriculum isnot enough to get a good job.
College Infra
UIET Kurukshetra has the necessary infrastructure, including labs, library, Wi-Fi, hostels, and sports facilities. Basic amenities are well provided, though some areas like mess and classroom upgrades need improvement.
Campus Life
UIET Kurukshetra’s campus is spacious and green, with good sports facilities and a well-equipped library. Its best features include a Wi-Fi-enabled environment and separate hostels. Academics
Faculty are often described as qualified, helpful, and approachable. Many have advanced degrees and are invested in student learning. Curriculum tries to keep up with industry requirements to some extent (e.g. newer topics in CSE, or AI/ML) though some students feel practical exposure or lab equipment could be better. Exam difficulty is moderate; those who are consistent tend to do well. Some concerns about strictness in evaluation, and delays or issues when faculty are absent.
College Infra
The campus infrastructure is decent: Wi-Fi across campus, well‐equipped labs, a central library with digital resources.
Classrooms generally are clean, but many are non-AC, which is uncomfortable in summers. Hostel amenities are acceptable separate hostels for boys/girls, water purifiers, security, messes. Some complaints about mess food and variation between different hostels.
Campus Life
Lots of positives: green campus, good social interaction, cultural & extracurricular activities, a sense of community. Many students enjoy hostel life, campus festivals, interacting across departments. Downsides: some facilities (shops, markets) shut early; limited late-night services. Also, some labs or classroom maintenance issues. But these don’t seem to heavily dampen student morale.
Placements
Placement records are mixed. Some branches, especially CSE, report good highest packages (e.g. ~ ₹28–44 LPA in certain years) but average packages tend to be in the ₹4-7 LPA range depending on branch. Not all students are eligible (due to backlogs or low CGPA), and many feel campus recruitment drives are fewer compared to more prominent institutes. Off-campus opportunities become important.
Value For Money
Being a government institute under Kurukshetra University, fees are relatively moderate. For what you pay, many feel you get reasonable return. I am studying there because it is the best and the toppest university in haryana and quality of teaching is good and also the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the fields yes it also makes us job ready as we are having many things to learn there

Yes the college is having good infrastructure, facilities and equipments . university is have good classrooms with all facilities like fan and proper ventilation also its is having a very excellent library facilities, also there are many sports related activities and the hostel facilities are also good like rooms are good having good enough space in wardrobe mess food is also good also having wifi on every floor yes the living space is clean and hygenic and also food is excellent and also have a good menu for mess
Campus Life
My college campus is having best features like it's beautiful and students engage in many activities like sports, discipline and many more students and teachers staff like the bestest there it's location is good yes it is safe also and it can handle emergencies too
Placements
I am feeling good at this college and i am able to learn many new things and the quality of placement is excellent its 100% and the percentage of students is full and the highest package is maybe about 8-10 lakhs and average salary offered is 2-3 lakhs yes the placement process easy and pleasant uf you are having good skills and yes my College is too much supporting
Value For Money
I am paying 90 thousand per year and i feel that i am getting my money worth because i am getting all facilities and also many opportunities to learn new things and also having incubation centre there to strat up my own startup by the help of profeesionals

If your rank is 54878 in EWS category in UIET Chandigarh is unlikely because In 2024 the closing rank for EWS category was 51049 something
However other engineering colleges and branches might be available in your rank
You might have better chance of getting other engineering branches in UIET
