I did my B-tech in Mechanical from Kurukshetra University in the year 2013. My experience with the college was very nice. I got placed in a boiler firm also. The faculty of my department is full of knowledge and experienced. The labs are well equipped with all the instruments and machines. The infrastructure of my university is also very huge and beautiful. I am participating in a Career 360 Live Project.

College life is good. It has the nice environment, good infrastructure. It is not up to the mark in case of faculty quality, quality education needs to be there, the practical aspects are not explained properly. They focus more on the theoretical part. Fewer opportunities are there.

Kurukshetra is well connected. Be it by buses or trains. It has the basic facilities that any metropolitan city has to offer. The university campus has an excellent infrastructure yet the atmosphere is poor. The college itself is decently sized. Be prepared for self studies, lack of practical exposure, poor scorecards, average placements and once in a lifetime 'Jat - Land' experience. This place may seem to be your biggest mistake at first yet gradually it will make way to your heart. This college has a huge potential. It attracts best minds from Haryana which is quite evident in their GATE results every year. As an alumni I notice the placements scenario has improved many a folds. Some hostels are really old and some have been newly established yet all have decent sized rooms. The hostel food is okay-ish. There are many PGs outside for those who demand a better stay. The faculty was poor. I am unaware about the current position.

Uiet is one of best colleges in Haryana for engineer. It is good for all types of students. Faculty is not very good but that can be compensated with the damn awesome university campus. Hostels in the university is also quite good, any student can adjust very easily in uiet's hostel very easily coz of familiar conditions .
