The infrastructure is quite good but the problem is you cant use them when required, u need to go through a lot of permissions and the tech overall college is not good. College does not share the wi-fi password generally and the library , it is good not grt but the prblm is you cant go in without permission.(So these are empty). If you are really interested you can get all the permissions and use it as you want. About the canteen it's good and the food is healthy.
I would they were average, as we were the first batch in our domain the curriculum was not that strong and not having separate faculty.(we have joined with cse only some subjects were different). The teaching was average and the concept were delivered good but not deep. Overall, it has a decent academics.
Due to current recession in IT , Our college did not provide much of the placements but it did gave it best. In our year, if i compared our college to others(at the same level) others are providing much better, so this year it was not at its peak.
The course cost per year is 1.5 lakh. If it is the worth spending i would say it is decent cause the discipline is good for one's development and it is near to city. The academics and college life is also decent.
The best thing about the campus is its academics and discipline. The worst thing is it does not have much cultural activities and it don't have hostel. The students, teachers are friendly and it is near to city. Campus provide a good environment. Yes , it can handle emergencies.
If you want a college near by city and which can provide a best environment and good study with decent placements , this is the perfect place you are looking for.
Vidya Jyothi institute of technology is a b.tech college. I can say that it a good infrastructure but not that better such as well segregated divisions of the couses and lectures have done, coming to infrastructure compared to 1st tire colleges some of our classes look a bit conjusted ,some computers seem to not work correctly but our management get all the issues make cleared as soon as possible . All the hardware and software laboratories provide good equipment.we don't have college hostel yet.
I am studying in information technology in the college the quality of teaching is pretty good.i can say teachers use projector and conduct regular labs for better explanations, all it depends on type of teacher we are assigned with and their teaching techniques. Our curriculum is updated and Include recent developments software skills like c,Java, python, html are teacher.
Placement drives are beeing conducted in our college for students of final year that is 4th year. Not only software students but hardware course students are also provided with software languages.only drawback of placements is there are no hardware related placements available in our college.our college give placement classes like aptitude and technical knowledge to crack the placements .The average package may be 10 lakh per annnum.
I pay nearly 90000 per year to the college as a convener quota student inclusive of all the college tution nd exam fee and extra 11000 for placement training. I don't think it's worth it as most of the coding part is shown theoratically on board I mean classroom I feel it would be much better if they generously conduct labs more regularly to make languages more easy.
To be honest I think our college is not much spacious. I really think students should have some free time not only study everytime they need some fresh air and some regular intervel breaks. Our college filled with Greenery that is the very reason I like it. pretty much seatings are available. All types of sport grounds are there like kabaddi, basketball, badminton, cricket. Bus stop is just few steps from collge,it's a safe area but ordinary RTC buses are not soo many available.
Our college provide all the Extracurricular activities, say sports and clubs like arts, singing, dancing, technical, street cause, helping poor, nss I think all the students get to know the world better and learn new things by participating in new activities.
my college infrastructure is good and it has all necessary facilities like digitalized classrooms ,digitalized laboratories. The library is plenty of books with a more than hundred systems with wifi connection. Every year they conduct sports day and so many colleges are participate in that and they provide best and hygienic food.
i completed my mechanical engineering in this college and they are good in teaching , faculty are too supportive in studies as well as in career development also. The prepare good and best curriculum for their students and they also include which can use full to students according to recent develpoment.
They are top in their placement side. They are bringing good companies for their students and so many students get placed every year. The highest package is 15lpa and the average package is 4 to 5 lpa.
They costing around 1lakh per annum and they providing good placements for the students and there are lot of facilities are provided by college management and because so many events also students gets certificates and all. For this type of activities the fee is reasonable for the college it is worth for it.
The college life is good and they have their best features in academics and also placements. Because of events and sports students can learn so many skills which will help them in future. The location is also good and it is very easy to handle the emergency situations.
good to go with this college because you can learn the things and if you are interested you will definitely get a job here and also events and college environment is also good.
Well maintained infrastructure, a well updated infrastructure that does great, a great platform to rely on industry experience and for study purpose there are digital boards for easy to understand the topic.
In our college, there are well-educated and highly qualified faculties which are expertise in their subjects. Use of digital tools are done to teach us effectively and in a very better way. They complete syllabus on time and as per the guidelines of University.
Our placement cell is a good for betterment of students which gives us the opportunities for all rounder development of us. They conduct various informative sessions, Saturday sessions, personality development sessions are conducted.
we have a central library consisting of several books related to the semester as well as journals that closely move with the new technology. the electronics and communication block have a library completely storing all the information related to the ECE field also they store the previous batches' best project documentations.
academics are pretty good and also the faculty takes good care of students helps the students regarding any project ideas. also we have a NI LABVIEW course many training sessions will be going to provide exposure to present techs.
the placement cell of our college is one of the main backbones. the placement cell gives training sessions on coding for students also these sessions are free if there are any competitive coding programs they start to coach the students to obtain the best results
yeah, it is worth getting into this college. another main reason is we have SPIE and OSA student chapters which are non-profitable organizations students can join these clubs and get an opportunity to visit workshops and international conferences *I am a member of the SPIE student chapter and published a research paper and attended an international conference*
the college campus environment is good and stands exceptionally good when it is cloudy. also regarding the sports, there is enough equipment and improvements are going on right now. as of the campus life is considered it is good
if you consider enjoyment as one of the main criteria during engineering then this is not a place for you. if you consider growing in career it can be a good option . as of ECE is considered the faculty have sound knowledge on subjects and encourage students a lot to come up with new ideas.
infrastructure is good but campus is small buildings are nice and well maintained surroundings are clean canteen and quite good gym facilities available but I have seen then barely opened . sports availible
academics being an autonomous college college have academic independence , some branches have different syllabus than regular jntu affiliated colleges , class rooms are decent euipped with projectors.
pacements in this college are similiar to other colleges , average annual package may be between 3.15 - 4 l per annum , although some companies like cisco offer deam packages too . but placements are more concentrated towards cse and it depts.
annual fees for the college may cost between 90,000- 100000 /- , until you are from convenor quota if not then get ready to pay donations upto 3 lakhs for cse and ece branches. commute options like colleges buses are available which cover almost all areas in the city and charge up to 20k to 21k
well!! thats a sad part for you if you join the college because the is college more focused on academics rather than co curricular activities although events do takes place in a year but not much to be considered for a good campus life
the only problem with this college is that there is no freedom , PT's are almost every time in the campus and they bother you many times , internal of academic the faculties will support you very much .
Labs, classrooms, smart boards everything is maintained well. High-quality infrastructure facilitates good instruction and improves students growth and and the friendly environment also improves student outcomes.
They always come up with something new which helps a student to catch up with the changing technology or to find a solution for the real time problems. And curriculum helps in improving the student' s intellectual, social and inter-personal development.
Placements have been good till now . Every year it improves. 82 percent of the students were placed . 12 lpa was the highest salary package last year to a CSE student . The average salary offered is 3.5 lpa.
Our college has good infrastructure. Facilities provided are good. Classes are also maintained clean. We have good laboratories and libraries. Sports centres are provided in our college. We also have smart boards. Living spaces are good. The food which is available in canteen is good and tasty.
I took electronics and communication engineering course because I was interested in that course. Quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is updated for every sem because as it is an Autonomous institution. They provide good curriculum as per the requirements. By the end of the course we can get the job we are trained in such a way that we can get a job.
Quality of placements is good. The highest salary package is 12 lakhs. Average salary is 3 lakhs. Actually I am from 2nd Yr I have collected information from 4th years. The placements process is pleasant and our college is supportive for us and our college provides many opportunities for us.
Per year the couser cost 80,000. I feel our money is worth by joining in this college because our college has best faculty and best infrastructure and good sports. The people around are also good and friendly.
The college campus is good . Activities done by the students are excellent they engage in very activity like sports, cultural activities, etc. Even ou college provides many opportunities to students to explore their thoughts and views. The students and teachers have good relation ship teachers great students in good manner and provide good stuff to students. The location is far fron city. It is safe and It can handle emergencies.
As of now, the college definitely has all the required and necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Apart from that, the college administration agreed for more funding towards more advanced facilities and the construction of a new building(block) and a brand new laboratory recently completed. We have WiFi for each and every department separately which is a great benefit. Many facilities like smart boards, projectors, interactive labs, IOT labs are maintained amazingly.
I am studying CSE because I love writing code and seeing it do amazing things. From my point of view, the professors are highly knowledgeable and one can really use this towards their advantage if they can just concentrate well enough in the classrooms. As the college is autonomous, the administration has the capability to update the curriculum to the market's demands whenever they need. Learning the subjects and doing the assignments perfectly definitely makes the students job-ready.
The quality of placements at our college is improving. many students used to get placements from outside. But these days, the placement cell is really working hard and we can see the fruits of their labor. Now, many good number of MNC organizations are attending for placement each year. The college also has a separate training track for placements which supports students in every way possible and makes sure that everyone is placed.
My course costs around Rs.80,000 per year. I don't feel that i am getting my money's worth because that kind of money can be used in many beneficial ways like building more labs, funding for student's ideas and many more. Instead they keep constructing new department blocks on the campus and gain higher accreditation from government. As a result, they keep increasing the fee to every new coming batch. The yearly fee for my juniors is Rs.1Lakh and their quality of education remained same as ours.
The college campus is amazing. There were many lush green trees but were reduced due to new buildings' construction. There are many clubs including photography, coding, entrepreneurship etc in which interested students can participate and hone their skills. The students, professors and support staff are always supportive towards students. Sometimes they make life difficult if our behavior is not good towards them. The college location is very safe and the security does a great job.
Overall, it is a great college and there is nothing wrong in joining this college. However, if one can perform better in the entrance exam, there would also be a chance of joining a better college than this. But, this college is not so bad and one could achieve their dreams in any college if he puts the effort and concentration towards them.
It is very unlikely you will get into VJTI Mumbai with an 87.73 percentile in JEE Main. VJTI, a highly competitive engineering college, typically requires much higher scores, especially for popular branches like Computer Science and Information Technology. Cutoffs for top branches often exceed the 97-99 percentile range.
VJTI's Admission Process:
VJTI mainly relies on the MHT-CET exam for admissions, with JEE Main scores also considered for a small percentage of seats (often the All India Quota).
Cutoff Trends:
In 2023, VJTI's cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Engineering (through MHT-CET) ranged from 99.9 to 99.95 for the General Home State category.
Your Percentile:
An 87.73 percentile in JEE Main likely translates to a relatively higher All India Rank (AIR), which would make admission to VJTI's top branches very challenging.
Alternative Options:
While direct admission into VJTI's most sought-after branches is unlikely, you might consider exploring other engineering colleges with lower cutoffs or potentially lower-demand branches within VJTI itself.
In summary, your percentile puts you outside the typical range for VJTI admission, especially for the most competitive programs. You should focus on exploring other colleges and branches that align with your score and preferences.
Hello,
Gaining admission to Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) Mumbai in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch as a general category candidate without a domicile certificate is quite competitive. VJTI primarily admits students based on their scores from the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and JEE Main. For candidates from outside the domicile, the cutoff ranks are usually higher than those for local candidates.
MHT CET Cutoff Trends:
In 2023, the closing ranks for the ECE branch at VJTI Mumbai were:
General Category (Home State): 1,471
General Category (Other State): 1,136
These numbers show that the cutoff ranks for non-domicile candidates (Other State) are generally more competitive than those for domicile candidates.
You can check the cutoff at Career360: https://www.careers360.com/colleges/veermata-jijabai-technological-institute-mumbai/cut-off
JEE Main Cutoff Trends:
VJTI Mumbai also takes JEE Main scores into account for admissions. While specific cutoff ranks for non-domicile candidates in the ECE branch are not explicitly provided, the general trend indicates that a higher JEE Main percentile is necessary for non-domicile candidates to gain admission.
Estimated Percentile and Marks:
Based on trends from previous years, non-domicile candidates aiming for the ECE branch at VJTI Mumbai should aim for a JEE Main percentile of around 99.5 or higher. This typically translates to a score of about 250-270 marks out of 300. Keep in mind that these figures are estimates and can fluctuate each year due to factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability.
Recommendations:
Prepare Strategically: Concentrate on enhancing your skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to achieve a high percentile in JEE Main.
Stay Updated: Regularly visit the official VJTI Mumbai website and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra portal for the most current information on admission processes and cutoff trends.
